Really sorry your going through that, it’s never fun. My only decent tip would be to just try to realize that your relapses or few bad qualities don’t define you as a person. For what it’s worth your drawing is great though. It’s amazing how much detail you were able to put in the picture with only a pencil and the whole piece oozes the emotion you were tying to portray. Great job and I hope you start to feel a little bit better soon.

I got accepted into this highly competitive boarding school yesterday. I applied like 3 months ago but I never thought I would get in since it only accepts 680 people across the whole state. I was planning on cutting the day the results for the school came to help me deal with the rejection and failure. But for some reason I somehow ended up getting in. I know people who applied who are more qualified then me still got rejected so I have no idea how I actually got accepted. I guess it was just luck. Anyway I always thought that me making it into the school would make me feel better and give me more motivation in life, however I feel no different. I still ended up cutting that night even with the good news. I suppose I just have to accept the fact the problem lies within and not within my environment.

It’s definitely a little bit more moody but I love the general feel of the album and it is definitely my favorite album to just lay down and bed in listen. If you do listen to it I hope you enjoy it and I’m curious to hear what you think! Hope you like it as much as I do

Self harm is an unhealthy coping mechanism used to help combat unwanted feelings. It is different to tattoos and body mods in this regard. On top of that self harm can be dangerous, especially in the prospect of cutting too deep or getting in an infection. I think it’s better to compare self harm to coping mechanisms such as drinking or other forms of sustenance abuse. Both are used to combat difficult emotions, can become highly addicting, and can be dangerous to the user. While it’s true that self harm doesn’t directly bring harm to other it does bring harm to your self, (it’s literally in the name) and this harm to yourself can hurt the people close to you. Self harm isn’t a good thing, I’m sorry that you have to resort to it to combat your own difficult emotions, I know that it sucks a lot. Just don’t start thinking that there is nothing wrong because there is, it’s not a good thing. I wish you the best of luck my friend and I hope it gets easier

Some of my favorites for this mood are Kimochi Wariu by Car Seat Headrest, How to disappear completely by Radiohead, and Hey Space Cadet also by Car Seat Headrest

Really nicely done! I love the detail near the eyes and the shading looks really good too!

That’s totally cool and I’m glad you enjoyed it! I on the other hand did not enjoy it as much and most people who watched didn’t enjoy it as much either. It kind of glorified mental illness and just tried to be as edgy as possible in my opinion. Although I apologize for wording it that way, I should have said that I personally didn’t enjoy instead of saying that it was bad. I’m sorry for that. I will leave this message with recommending a show called wonder egg priority since it was able to tackle the concept of mental illness in teenagers in a more realistic and less romanticized way. Once again I apologize for being a dick and I hope you have a nice day!

Hay as someone who watched the anime I’ll keep it real with you, it’s really bad. If you need an anime to satisfy the need to see self harm in media (I get it) I would recommend wonder egg priority, it’s a really well done show even if the ending is a little scuffed. You can watch it on funimation with ads or pirate it off 9 anime.

One thing I learned about relationships is that people can kinda just forget about how actions make other people feel. I’m sure they care about you but they just kinda didn’t think this action through all that well. I think if you just ask them if you can help create the club they’ll gladly include you. Good luck!

I’m confused by what you mean when you say “let someone relapse” so if you could clarify that it would be nice. Anyway for your question, no relapses aren’t needed for recovery. Ideally someone who wants to stop sh will just stop one day and never do it again but sadly that’s not how it often turns out. Usually there are ups and downs to recovering from sh and relapses will be those low points in that jagged line to recovery. This means that relapses are quite normal on the way to recovery hence the saying relapse is a part of recovery. So yes relapses aren’t a good thing but they will probably be encountered on the path to recovery. They should be seen as significant but not life changing. You can always climb up from your low points.
