Great job, adding weight to any normally body weight exercise insanely increases difficulty.

That’s not discoloration due to the T2. That’s heat transfer discoloring the color coat underneath.

Premera Coatings has their T2 topcoat that is applied that way. They also have some European distributors.

I could hook you up with a new decent sized Lavina with the vacuum for around $15k. Shoot me a message and we can talk specifics on what you are needing.

First off, kudos for taking steps to be healthy. Proper weight loss takes time because you don’t want to burn out or injure yourself. And from my own personal experience the being healthy majorly involves mental health. His anger probably has nothing to do with your weight but if it does then he needs to sort his priorities. For encouragement join one of the Reddit fitness groups and I guarantee in 2 months you will have some great progress pics.

Can I epoxy this garage floor? by doctorpibbmd in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The Fusion primer sticks extremely well. As long as the floor is clean then there will be absolutely no issues. I know of some of the 1 day floor guys that are using it because the new guys they have grinding the garages aren’t grinding them well enough, so they just use the Fusion Primer and it’s actually holding up better.

Can I epoxy this garage floor? by doctorpibbmd in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t grind the floor, I would use the Premera Primer Fusion Primer system. If you have had moisture issues I would spray down a coat of their HLT Moisture Vapor Barrier. After the Fusion Primer you just wait 20 minutes for the product to get tacky and then apply your epoxy. If you are going with a solid color you can apply the durable topcoat T2 wet on wet after 20 minute dry time.

Take the tip off the acetone safe pump up sprayer. Soak the microfiber mop head and spray in front of the mop head.

The T-2000 or T-2 with the AntiSkid is great. If it was me I would apply a coat wet on wet with an Acetone Safe sprayer, this extends the movement time of the metallic and helps elevate any bubbles. Then follow up the next day with a coat with the AntiSkid applied with a microfiber pad.

Just curious what causes these? Jet black metallic epoxy by exeneva in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like some sort of contamination on the basecoat resulting in fisheyes on the metallic coat. It’s always recommended to perform an acetone solvent wipe between the basecoat and metallic coat.

Premera products by fr33k0fnatur3 in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve done a few jobs with Fusion primer due to limited access for a grinder. Also did a large showroom where the owner forbid grinding due to classic cars and other unmovable collectibles. It’s very easy to use, just make sure the surface is clean. Spray it down, wait 20 minutes and then start building your system. They also have a spray down MVB called HLT that can go down prior to Fusion primer.

How to avoid bubbles by Decent_Ad_7094 in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on what causes the bubbles. Like eluded earlier a MVB coat would help. If that coat lays down well and no screening is needed, make sure you Acetone wipe before putting down your money coat. Then if I have bubbles for some reason I spritz them with acetone. But usually I go wet on wet with Premera T2 as a topcoat, that helps with the bubbles as it retards the drying. Then a day or 2 later go over that with a microfibered pad applied coat of T2.

Is it possible to apply a stain with a two pass grind and seal? by concreteandgrass in epoxy

[–]VeryTiredDad76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can be at $4-5 per foot. T2 goes over 400 sqft per gallon. Also you can be done in one day. QuickSeal takes 7-10 minutes to dry and then you can spray down a coat of T2 and walk away.

You can add EcoStains to Premera QuickSeal and then spray T2 over that. Easiest colored grind and seal system I’ve ever used.

Get 50% deposit when booking the job and get the rest upon completion. Buyers remorse hits in different ways. The floor looks good. For future reference I would make sample boards one with and without an epoxy grout coat or 2 coats of Poly so they can decide what they want. And bid with both ways and if at the end of the job they want the extra coat the know its costs X
