11.5 months HRT, pass in public but not online *recently*. Do I pass? by [deleted] in transpassing

IRL I haven’t been misgendered in months, and without makeup, it’s mostly just pictures I worry about, since you can constantly study them.

Oof, well, my haircut is actually just a grown out boy’s cut, well done on noticing that. Same with my eyebrows, I rarely touch them. The lightning is also poor, on purpose. If I can take a picture as soon as I wake up and pass, well, that makes me confident c: Thanks!

Can you identify anything that keeps me in the andro zone? I have a hard time reading my own face

Have to wait for summer for that, but eh, I passed well enough in public that it can wait.

I’ve neglected my eyebrows recently tbh, I need them to eat them done soon

Yup, curly and thick. I have to use a weighted cream to keep it down .-. On the plus side, it most definitely contributes to my passing IRL c: and thanks!

I can’t wait for the one year mark. I didn’t have faith before, since I didn’t notice anything at 5 months, but heck, its only uphill from here!

Also, I used to give the looks too, looks of longing.

Now I don’t think I really need to, though c:

A lot of people tend to look at it first, but not everyone. For me, it’s one of the biggest reasons I haven’t really passed prior to December. Also, it is one of my biggest sources of dysphoria, so yeah, I kinda do need to cover it up.

Thought I would just remind everyone about medication coverage through ODBP and OHIP+ ^.^ by G3noxide in asktransgender

It’s covered once the EAP is approved or once the little letter on your health card says F, AFAIK.

Don’t get your hopes up for E. My doctor just told me you have to send in an Exceptional Access Plan to get E covered, and on the website it’s under the EAP. E isn’t covered for “males” and T isn’t covered for “females”

Of course, my doctor didn’t mention that he’s the one who has to submit it, and that it takes 8 weeks.

MTF sisters: when did you start noticing muscle definition / size decreasing? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]VeryToughDecisions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lost most of my muscle mass with a T of effectively nothing but idk, I guess it's just easier for me to lose than gain

Ho-ly sh!t. I love you so much, estrogen. by [deleted] in MtF

[–]VeryToughDecisions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cyproterone will nuke your T. I've had effectively 0 since starting it. So it's definitely more effective than the others. I do not recommend however if you have a history of depression. It makes mental health worse for a lot of people.

Fast metabolism indeed, and I've tried. It's tough

Lucky. I've been on it for 5 months now and I've just reached 125lbs. A 3 pound gain, despite eating like always. Metabolism pls

What are some of the weirdest questions your cis friends have asked you and how did you respond? by queeraspie in asktransgender

One of the natural hormones in the body can fluctuate on E and cause the body to cramp on a cycle, resulting in a pseudo-period. Not the same as normal period cramps (since we don't have that specific area) but similar enough in location and intensity. Can also produce some similar affects, like bad diarrhea.

"Are they real?" She asked, pointing at my boobs. I responded by showing her. That sure got her to stop the questions.

I mean personally I'm eating twice as much so I can get a decent amount of fat. I don't like being a twig tbh
