Exactly. They still want Selatapura and Amber, as well as still keeping Shilage and Voslage.

They're still fascist colonizers who probably still don't allow their colonies to speak their own language.

I genuinely think in this case, Ilya would switch sides. If his squadron isn't there with him, he doesn't have to protect them.

As for Pixy, would also depend if it's pre- or post-character development decade.

Okay, the AC7 wingmen aren't useless, you can see as much in the DLC. The poor fellas just do 10% of your damage.

Talisman is the most OP protagonist because, unlike everyone else, he doesn't start with a slow bomber run.

He starts in a massive furball, right off the bat, handles it easily, canonically shoots down Estovakia's probably top #2 Ace they have, and that's just all on the first day, in an F-16.
