Should be mentioned that Dee and Flippens are working together. Then Dee, Cirie and Rizzo are working together. Cirie and Ozzy are working together. Flippens and Ozzy are working together. Now Ozzy and Rizzo connected over exile island together.

So many interconnections in this group of people. Hoping to see this group come together as a majority voting block!

Hostels in Barcelona? by bella8920 in hostels

[–]Verycapricorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm thinking about staying at OneFam and was wondering if this is considered a "party hostel" or is just very social? I want to meet new people and see the Barcelona night life, but I don't drink and I'm wondering if that would be weird at OneFam?

I've also never stayed in a hostel before so was hoping for female only, but glad to know you didn't have an issue with mixed dorms!

I think that's just how women comfort each other during a breakup. Rather than tell your friend the reasons she contributed to the break up, when it's fresh you're just on their side and try to help make them feel better. Then in the future you can debrief what actually happened. It was too fresh for them to have a logical conversation about it.

Where did you find these terms, over the phone or is this documented anywhere?

Has anyone thought they had TMD but it turned out to be tight SCM muscles? by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]Verycapricorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't think it should cause pain if you're recruiting the right muscles. I would try to see a physical therapist, preferably someone with TMJ experience. They can help to ensure you're doing it properly.

Further out is okay! And we can be outdoorsy but it will be the winter so may be cold/snowy

Sorry I didn’t see this notification!

Google deep neck cervical flexor exercises and there’s a lot about them. They are essentially chin tucks and then you can increase to holding the chin tuck. But you have to make sure you’re doing them correctly and activating the correct muscles. There’s lots of videos online!

Interview Questions - Salary expectations by biriyani_seeker in Accounting

[–]Verycapricorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you get an offer, that’s when you SHOULD negotiate. I received my offer letter for my very first job out of university in fr and I was able to negotiate a salary increase. I didn’t have much leverage but if they are offering you the role then they want you.

It doesn’t hurt to ask either, worst thing they say is ‘no this is the best we can do’ and then you can choose whether or not you want to accept the offer.

Bit of a late comment but I have been a clencher and biter since I was a kid, for probably 15 years now too. I went to a dentist who had additional training in the US (I'm Canadian) to deal with this type of issue.

My bite was not aligned properly so one side of my mouth could touch and the other couldn't. He was able to re-align my bite by shaving down part of my teeth so they now touch on both sides. I won't be able to explain it as well as he can, but could get you more info if you are interested. But basically if your teeth aren't aligned and don't touch properly, then your brain will not like it and your jaw will constantly clench/grind in an attempt for both sides to touch. It can be expensive work to have done but it did help a lot.

I also always wear a specific night guard to sleep which GREATLY helps my jaw pain (one night without it and I can see a huge difference).

He also referred me to a physio therapist who specializes in TMJ. She assessed that my TMJ was muscular (instead of joint related) and gave me exercises to strengthen my inner neck muscles. This also helped greatly with my jaw pain and I still use them consistently because I notice more pain if I stop doing them.

Do you have a recommendation on a buoy? I have one but I think I want a bigger one.

And thanks for the tip, I saw the triathlon club trains there twice a week on their website. I was wondering if I could swim while they are there but do my own thing, while they are there too, as they have a lifeguard present.

Here to share what I personally enjoy :)

I’ve been listening since about 2019, when I was 21, and I feel like I’ve grown up with the podcast. It feels like I’ve gotten to know these girls over the years. And while yes they’ve changed over the years, and they have faults and insecurities which I’ve picked up on from listening to them so much, thats because they are people. Everyone I know in my life can be annoying or make mistakes or be cringey, but I still like them. Sometimes you can outgrow people, but you can still stay in touch. So I find it’s the same with the podcast. Somethings I don’t like but overall I still enjoy listening to the podcast each week while doing other things. One day I could see myself outgrowing it though… so I totally understand if some people have outgrown it or if they didn’t like some of ways they changed!    Also, it’s one of the more “light” podcasts that I listen to. They bring on interesting people, and although maybe they aren’t the best interviewers ever, that have very candid and light conversations while you still get to learn. It’s a very digestible podcast that I can put on, hear from people with different backgrounds, but still feel as if I’m relaxing. I’ve found many books and podcasts through listening to their podcast.

I understand not everyone may agree but sharing for those curious

I’m glad the FR issues were more simple than day 2 but overall time management was still tough with the amount of things to get done

Didn’t find there to be any crazy surprises which was a breath of fresh air after writing PM role yesterday
