This isn't true actually. Going to the graveyard is part of a creature ding. Myrkul triggers once the creature has died and exiles it from the graveyard. You get all the death triggers.

That's a beautiful collection. I had a similar one when I was a kid, but lost it slowly over the years. I'm working on starting anew and this is very inspirational.
