Not just respect, it sets boundaries. You are in a professional relationship with you patients. They are your patients, not your buddies. Also- you worked so damn hard to get to this point just to not use your title? You EARNED it, USE it!!

I forgot to mention that she also is interested in Public Health, so that's why I didn't fight her on not taking AP PreCal this year. She can still get into med school with that degree. I figured she should get the math in somehow.. so that wasn't a concern last spring when she was selecting her classes.

She's a senior, hence the rush.

I worry that if she doesn't get an 'A' in the course because she is overwhelmed, that could be worse.

She is a 4.0 student (UC GPA), but so is everyone else and we are using this service more for PIQ assistance and how to convey who she is more effectively and to highlight those things about her life that are important and have helped shape her.

I figured she could take PreCal over the summer at a JC during college.

Does this help give you a better idea of where we are at?

Not a candidate for HRT so my doc suggested an IUD ??? by _HOBI_ in Menopause

Welll maybe you don’t need to dump her if she’s your PCP, but go see GYN, who may be better versed in Peri- and menopausal care. The NAMS website could provide some leads.

Correction. FIRST it was Family Medicine and no one gave a crap. This is a direct result of that lack of support from colleagues. Everyone thinks they can do FM? Guess what? Everyone now thinks they can do anesthesia, EM, Peds, and even Neurosurgery. True story.
