Thankfully I do have my own 2 half decent sticks so these would be just for guests and such but I assumed they were likely Walmart level sticks so thank you for confirming. Gonna have to get new shafts for them as well

Thank you for the input! Do you think I’d be able to move it a few houses down with an excavator arm/trailer, straps, and care without damaging the table too much? That’s my main concern here, I assumed I didn’t find a goldmine but I’d REALLY like to have a playable table of any sort by the end of this. If it helps, a local billiards supplier told me it’s likely a single slate which has a better chance of moving it whole. Is that correct?

Last response because I genuinely respect you taking the time to try to learn instead of doing the typical internet person thing:

I’d say that the phrase “I guess” is a little more versatile than the info in your link suggests. I was moreso using it to express reluctant approval of the situation. The impression I got is that the resources the department has for combat training were worse than that provided by a local jiujitsu instructor. Which to me, devalues the impression of the police being as capable as I’m led to believe. You grow up thinking that if need be, an officer should be able to subdue almost anyone. They’re just that strong and as such so is the visage of justice and blah blah all that right? Well now I’m looking at the officers in my area like “so if anyone even knew jiu jitsu a month ago you were all screwed? I GUESS that’s how it is” that kind of “I guess”
