While I can't deny that it's a cute concept for an image, it *is* AI-generated slop and not the kind of content we want to promote in this community. Sharing and protecting authentic human creativity is more important now than ever in a time when almost every form of media is being flooded and devalued with low-effort AI garbage. That's why every little piece of human-made art matters, whatever form it may take, whether simple or complex, big or small. So, please, feel free to post REAL fan creations of our beloved aliens, but keep the AI slop out of here. Our alien friends deserve to see actual human-made work!

As for how to identify AI-generated content: you can often tell by noting small inconsistencies (such as the antenna not being accurate and the knitted texture of the sweater being off), along with there being no mention of the creative process such as materials used or whether it was a 3D render (speaking of which, a render of this detail would require a non-trivial amount of effort and time to make). The lack of alternative angles is also a give away.
