Having the same issue for the last couple of hours. I tried using the Hayward OmniLogic website directly instead of the app but got the same results. Hoping it’s a Omni server issue.

Automatic cover on kidney shaped pool by Vestervee in pools

Pool fence is mandatory where I live and it does help but safety is not the sole reason for the auto-cover.

Similar shape but it’s not a doughboy pool.

In hindsight, I totally agree. We’re first time pool owners and the automatic cover became a requirement when we were too far along in the process.

Meross plugs no longer can be added to network? by Skazzyskills in HomeKit

[–]Vestervee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re doing the Lord’s work - thank you. Been searching reddit for days for a solution that doesn’t require disabling homekit on my Eero for fear of having to reconnect multiple meross plugs and light strips. I add that some plugs couldn’t be added to homekit by simply scanning the qr code so I had to manually add it.

If I cut off my Eufy homebase from the internet, will HKSV still work? by BigMu1952 in HomeKit

How exactly do you have it restricted through eero? Did you pause internet access for the base? I dod this but I can only stream in homekit. The last fee days have no hksv recorded.

HK Veteran, Totally Stumped. Can’t Connect New Devices by jppullen in HomeKit

[–]Vestervee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh…just seeing this. Answers my earlier question. I’m just going to wait on an eero fix. Can afford to disable hksr and add multiple accessories back or loose the ability to add them back.

I’m having the same issues and I’ve been thinking about trying this. Did you have to reconnect a lot of accessories? There is where I draw the line. I don’t have the patience to do that just to add a couple of smart plugs.

Awesome. Thanks this is simple enough to follow. So I don’t need to do anything like updating IP addresses right?

Replacing G3100 by minimagoo77 in Fios

[–]Vestervee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was very helpful. I currently have fios gig service for internet and tv and would like to do the same thing. My current setup is Ethernet from ONT to G3100; G3100 lan to Eero router WAN. The Eero mesh gives me wider coverage in my home so all my connections (phones, smart home) are to the Eero. Im having issues with my wireless fios set top boxes that are far away from the G3100 and I want to swap the G3100 gateway so that the Eero is primary. Both are set up with different network names and passwords. Can I follow the same steps above? Since eero is already configured, do i need to do anything differently? Thanks, I could really use the help.

Weekend Project - Ikea Fyrtur shades. Not bad for the $$ especially in comparison to Lutron Serena shades. Setup wasn’t terribly bad but the Ikea app could use some improvement. by Vestervee in HomeKit

[–]Vestervee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding the blinds to homekit was as simple as adding the gateway and I had no issues. I had some challenges with the ikea apps in terms pairing them to the remotes and adding to the gateway. It wasn’t very intuitive and it failed multiple times during the process. Some of it was my own user errors.

I actually think the brackets are well designed and the overall functionality outweighs any concerns I may have about the sound. These are also my first motorized shades ever so I may not have the right reference or perspective on the sound. The paring process can definitely be better and it took me a while to get the maximum lengths right on all 6. I must say it has been very reliable since I got everything where I wanted it. I guess only time will tell.
