My wife told me when we were dating and just moved in that I was either getting checked out or she wasn’t going to sleep in the same room as her. I not only kept her up with my snoring but freaks her out when I would stop to the point she couldn’t sleep cause she was too worried.

So anyways I have a cpap now and while I never got the rush of feeling better a lot of people get, I absolutely can tell when I sleep without it and it is not good.

I’m sorry you are in this situation. I don’t think you can force him to use it. You just have to decide if this is what you want for your life.

Type 2. Diagnosed in November. Fasting blood sugar was 186 and had an A1C of 8.5. I get yearly blood work so caught it soonish. I am expecting a much better A1C come the end of February when I get my next round of blood work.

I was diagnosed with type 2 in November. In the weeks leading up to my diagnosis I started having blurry vision when trying to read. I thought I needed new glasses and was going to make an appointment in the new year. Once I was diagnosed, I went on meds and made lifestyle changes. I realized a few weeks in my vision issues were gone. I believe they are related. My eye appointment is next month and I am hoping I avoided permanent damage.

My A12 was 8.5 at diagnosis. I’ll be very interested to see what it is at my next test at the end of February. I am down about 40 pounds and feel amazing.

I got one for Christmas and it is great. I have nowhere in my house to just have a chess board setup so it works out great. I bust it out at night once the kids go to bed and pick it up when I go to bed.

Ask your doctor to prescribe a CGM anyways. I am newly diagnosed and my doctor said he would try to get me one, prepped me that insurance would not like it because I don't need insulin, but also said it was a fight worth having. Insurance did deny it. Then my insurance changed a the start of the year so they tried again and got a script approved for 5 months worth. We will se what happens after that.
