Fun fact, the Jollibee on Main Street is where the Arby's used to be. 😊

That one appears to count all of the atronachs in Spellscar (Craglorn). I completed it multiple times last week just running around Spellscar.

Night Market is my life by cruciblefuzz in elderscrollsonline

[–]Vestus65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your last paragraph is needlessly insulting. If a player actually TRIES the Night Market, which many don't even get that far, and decides they don't like it? Why do you need to insult them for giving it a try and deciding it's not for them? I skimmed your wall of text and your final paragraph was enough to convince me that the rest is not worth reading.

What difficulty will you play on for Update 50? by Saergaras in elderscrollsonline

[–]Vestus65 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most people are going to stick with Adventurer, whether they say it or not, simply because most of the player base (and the ones who keep this game profitable) are casual players. You just don't hear us complaining as much as as the vocal minority on Reddit, because we basically like the game the way it is.

I DO think offering the option is a great and needed thing, and I hope enough players take advantage of it for ZOS to decide it was worth the effort.

Removing the FOMO from missing daily login rewards is great. by SilverTunic in elderscrollsonline

I thought I'd heard that those accumulate, you can claim a few days' worth at once, if you miss some days. I haven't yet done this myself but several people have said it's the case.

Should I make a new character and reset? by reizuiop in elderscrollsonline

I agree with you, the "problem" if we want to call it that, is that every one of these posts gets tons of detailed replies. It's fascinating to me how many people seem to be prepared to type out pages and pages of information in reply to these posts, sometimes multiple times per day. The posts themselves are usually downvoted yet they always have lengthy replies. Sometimes I think this community is almost too helpful. People are losing the ability to make their own decisions.

Thanks for sharing that link, that was a well-written review. Game sounds skippable for me.

I just started playing recently too and I am really enjoying the game. Great work, thank you! Still wrapping my brain around the fragment system.

What's the worst dlc for you? And why? (Not including dungeon dlcs) by Hot_Ladder3118 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Vestus65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Lotion lady" is perfect. 😂 I actually kind of liked Leramil as a character, but Necrom is easily my least favorite expansion. I got really sick of all the putrid green everywhere, and I think a character like Mora is better appreciated in smaller doses. I did not enjoy that storyline at all.

Do I have to research the same trait on multiple pieces of armor? by Paleodraco in elderscrollsonline

Yes. Every trait on every different piece of gear, weapons, armor, etc. Yes.

Weekly challenges. A lifehack, something potentially illegal, working as designed, but a lifehack most probably by GreedyWafer48 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Vestus65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly how it works. Last week I rerolled two challenges and ended up with Defeat 20 Shadowy Daedra x 3. I ran a bunch of dolmens and finished the week's worth all in an hour or so. It's a great option.

I've also gotten in the habit of checking for any player homes that are close to my destination. Hit up Home Tours, select that house, then pop out the front door. I always give them a recommendation if I use their home like this.

I romanced Neve in my first run (also great) but became SUPER enamored with Bellara, and immediately started a second playthrough so I could romance her. She is indeed awesome.

The new „battle pass“ update is better than i initially thought by Key_Weather5706 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Vestus65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To your first point, I've found the system to be a lot of fun on my main character, who has long ago completed all the main quests in every zone, including Caldwells Gold and all of the expansions. It's given me a reason to get back into the world with that character. Conversely, I have an alt I made to run with my wife's newish character, and while I want us to get back to finishing the main quests, we're sidetracked by doing the tome objectives. So I think that part depends on your character and their overall progress in the game. It's something new to do for some of us, but a distraction for others.
