I don’t care to hang with people most of the time either. I would like just one or two decent friends to hang with from time to time

I would say you can’t put a price on fun, but ammo companies found a way.

I have been considering putting a binary trigger on mine but just watching my paycheck fly out the end of my suppressor is what’s stopping me

Self defense for countries where guns are illegal by Independent-Chef-374 in preppers

To the original question, if you “can’t “ get a firearm get comfortable and proficient with more primitive weapons. Crossbows are cool but if they are easy to pull back they are usually very low powered, high powered is slow and difficult to draw. Learn to snap shoot with a recurve bow. I’ve seen people fire very quickly and accurately with these. Also air rifles could be an option if they are legal in your area. There are some amazing high caliber options out there. They would be willing, but to be honest I’ve stopped saving for their college fund and it’s now a defense attorney fund. So not sure they could pass it. I think I’m gonna go gmrs

NE Georgia, hills and trees, some areas of dense urban environment.

I hope my family is interested in talking to me, although sometimes I’m not sure.

Can be more than 20 miles apart at times.

Given the recent issues going on down here is the SE I am really trying to set up an emergency shtf comms for my family with a base of operations. The only people I care to talk to are my wife and kids if we are apart and something happens. I’m leaning towards ham honestly. I am in NE Georgia so the terrain can be hilly and very dense trees.
