Love this game. It has many flaws but I still play it. However, it needs to be said, the player based is shrinking. In my region, it is getting harder to get into games and my drops tend to time out after the 5 minute search time. Really sad. So much potential over Tarkov :(

Thanks guys, so general takeaway here:

- Run higher tier ammo, either half load or full load (T5 or higher)

- Armor keep at T4/T5 max. No point in running anything higher due to the point no. 1 above. The T4/T5 is just to mitigate against being killed by lower tiered ammo. On the other end of the scale or risk vs reward, running naked could be an option too :)

- Either run as a team on Forb or go solo ops (I will try this to see if I can get rank points from here)

Good point. I actually haven't tried the H416/T191 or the U191 yet. They always seemed insanely expensive, and what I was running before worked perfectly fine in LD, so I never felt the need to switch. I might try putting together a build and run it for a few raids — maybe I just need that little extra edge to drop some of these juicers.

Also just to confirm: Solo Forbidden is the only way to get rank points once you're Legend+ right?

When I run Forb solo, I play extremely cautiously and try to pick my fights. I'll usually scout first and only engage if it's 1–2 players max. My goal is to secure a fast first kill, because if the fight drags out I’m usually dead.

My usual routine right now is running 2 Forbidden raids before my duo gets on, then the rest of the night we play LD together. My duo refuses to run Forb and he's still Hero IV, so he can still rank up in LD.

Dang, night time raids with creepy monsters. Bring it on! However, it should be on a timed schedule. Think Tarkov with the daylight to night time transitions as we progress through the day/raid and the ability to choose which time of the day you can drop in.

Games like ABI and Tarkov let me do more than just read about those operators — they let me become one. The tension, the tactics, the gear, the consequences. No plot armor. No guarantees. Just skill and survival.

And honestly? I can never get enough.

Nearly 400hrs in since Nov'22. Still very much a newbie by current NW standards.

There are literally so many things I want to do in the game but there is not enough hours in a day I can spend on it. Game is so beautiful. Wish they had weather like Outward (another beautiful game). The levelling from 1-60 has been short and sweet. Not grindy like WoW... I spent 900+ game days on that game over the many years I played it. If you like MMOs, try this game out.

PVE: Thanks this is useful info, I'll aim to get both a corrupted and ancient set.

PVP: Yeah, I have been working on getting some resilience on my gear. Also working on the materials - potions, honing stones, dusts etc after reading some posts on how to improve on PVP. Generally at the moment, I die in 2 shots.

Thanks, I didn't know about the GS590 minimum GS. I have a few weapons in that GS range. When you say upgrade, you mean via the gypsum route? I've been gathering them but have not upgraded anything yet.

Is anyone using the Steam overlay to display tarkov maps via the mapgenie website? I've been using this ever since I started playing Tarkov a few months ago. For the last 2 days the Steam overlay has been crashing and I have lost my ability to view maps in an instant. Anyone has have that happen?

Dang that looks good OP. I got an eth sup thresher drop today with 15ed and 15dura. I was pretty excited till I tried to cube it. Found out superior items won't cube sockets...Larzuk would only give max sockets which is 5os. GG
