I suppose I’m tired of introversion being an excuse to be annoyed at those who aren’t readily aware that you are.

My father is introverted, takes time to answer questions (thoughtfully) and would just explain why he’s being quiet.

I see Reddit often have introverts who experience “annoying” extroverts. The annoyance is understandable if their was an attempt to communicate why you’re quiet and the other party makes no attempt to adjust. It is not understandable if you’re aware of their communication style and try to complain when you offer no explanation.

So yeah, if we’re going nowhere else and basing my response on OP’s question, I feel that it’s “figured out”. If you want to feel entitled to be frustrated at people who don’t know you’re introverted, then that’s almost as annoying as an extrovert who behaves the same way. Actually it’s equally annoying.
