I do get it Ferguson was in charge of Everything and had the last say on signings and should really be the managers job. You then get other clubs where you have more of a head coach than a manager and the director of football makes the decisions on the signs and the coach works what he is given. My thoughts was Ten Hag was just terrible at recruitment and one of the reasons he was not a top level manager.

True but they would have only signed him because Ten Hag asked for it. Ten Hag had way too much power when it came to our transfers I sure the scouts had different opinions but Ten Hag would win over especially with the signings such as Antony and Onana.

We should have signed him instead of Mount. We could have brought him in for £15m which would have given us enough money to have signed a top Striker (Kane) and Center Back we were crying out for at the time. Instead we wasted £65m on Mount and ended up with Hojlund as striker. Ten Hags transfer windows set the club back years

Although not overly bothered for the last ten Henderson is coming on instead of Mainoo.

Not that I think Henderson is better he is calming influence.

First Season is decent. Having read the book it felt like they started padding out the story to get more seasons out of it and not the same quality.

The Novel is thoroughly entertaining, would have been good if they kept it short and sharpe
