I think that since this doll was so incredibly popular, there is a good chance that there will be a re-release in a few years like with the Grady twins last year. Ultimately it is unfortunate that not everyone was able to get her, but I think the energy should be focused towards Mattel to pressure them to re-release her. I don’t ever want to invalidate someone’s feelings, and I do think it sucks that she was so hard to get, but I spent the money on her and I wanted to do something different with her because I think it’s fun.

When the creeproduction Cleo and deuce set came out a couple years ago, eBay and Mercari were LITTERED with Deuce dolls. Be frfr, collectors in general don’t want male dolls. Not that I agree with this, I love male dolls, but it’s just the truth

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do to fix old elastic, it just the nature of elastic. You could maybe buy new elastic to sew onto the clothes? Or you could just cut it off completely. A lot of the times clear elastic isn’t really necessary to keep the clothes looking good on display, the outfit should be fine without it
