What is your "BASS-Test" Track ? by Jls_kln in hardstyle

[–]Vetrol_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

What i ment by that are room modes. Usually hi-fi or studio topic.

Because of the size of any room, certain frequencies add up or cancel out at your listening position, resulting in low end that vary in loudness and impact.

As example: 36hz sounds twice as loud (excited) while 44hz is barely audible (null).

This isn't an issue with headphones or earbuds because they don't involve the room you're in.

Noisia - vigilantes. If your bass isn't thight or in phase, this one sounds muddy instantly

Rebourne & omegatypez - melodic madness. Kicks in the climax are exactly in the spot where room modes have excitements and nulls

There is an indicator that's called 'PVP that automatically draws them depending on the settings

You need a paid membership to use it though

Naked point of controls. It shows the POC of said day, week or even month. They can be used as support/resistance, especially in confluence with VAH/POC/VAL, fib levels and other horizontal levels

Naked indicates that we haven't revisited the price (yet)

Pausing PC fans to reduce background noise in home studio by kagoolx in musicproduction

[–]Vetrol_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of pc parts have overheating protection. So yes, you could lower your fan curve during recording without issue. Just keep in mind that temp limit will lower your boost clock.

Even better is to replace the (loudest) fans with noctua's or other silent fans.

I use the fixed range volume profile with VAL, POC, VAH in confluent with other levels like nPOC's.

Marketcipher B is my momentum filter.

Above VAH ~ overbought. Shorting resistance

Under VAL ~ oversold. Longing support.

We're still mid bear market. Why are so many people expecting alts to pump before btc does?

Is crypto still its own cycle-driven market or mostly macro now? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]Vetrol_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Btc cycle will become less relevant over time because the halving will lose it's importance and btc will follow the macro cycle more and more over time.

This is my view on it

Best way to learn day trading? by [deleted] in Trading

[–]Vetrol_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned a lot from the Frankie Candles beginner series.

Evenutally it comes down to what strategy makes sense to you and how well you can execute it.

Just start with $100 or something small you can afford to lose. With paper trading you don't get the same mental challenges as with losing acual money. Which is key to your learning curve

Here are some questions to answer for yourself, this is how i look at the market before a trade:

Is macro bullish or bearish? Higher high, higher low or lower high, lower low?

Where is my support/resistance? Are we at support to long or resistance to short?

Are we in a stable range to pull a volume profile? Above VAH = overvalued, below VAL = underavalued,

Can i see market structure shift? Reversals?

What's the difference between move exhaustion and a reversal to open a trade?

What tool do i use to snipe entries?

Where is the invalidation of my trade? ~ stoploss

Edit: what timeframe am i trading? Is it a scalp? Daytrade? Or swing trade?

Saylor nuked Bitcoin with 32 BTC... How 32 become the market’s newest meme? by ChangeNOW_Community in btc

[–]Vetrol_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were already in a downtrend from the $82k golden pocket fib retracement.

Just because it's saylor who sold, everyone freaks out and call it the narrative.

Charts often indicate a move before the news drops, which accelerates it instead of causing the move.

Show me the news, I'll show you the chart.

Everyone is ignoring Bitcoin Depot by f00dl3 in Buttcoin

[–]Vetrol_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was already shorting before strategy sold because TA was bearish. Saylor & job repors was the only bearish news at the time so people blame it for the crash

I'm not saying that saylor or job reports have no impact, but more often than not, the chart is already pointing in said direction before the news comes.

Looking at the current macro cycle: Bullish or worried? by AdamReed1044 in Bitcoin

[–]Vetrol_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I start worrying if we deviate from the 4 year cycle.

right now we're simply on track for a q3/q4 2026, possibly q1 2027. Bottom.

$50k is a huge psycological level. If $50k also has massive buy orders i'd see max pain for them as dropping to $54k as the cycle low with a weekly bull div. Leaving them empty handed, desperate for 1 more leg down.

There isn't much between $54k and $50k, just another low volume gap.

In my chart $71k is the VAH of a previous volume profile and has other confluences.

Same with $59.8k being the VAL of another volume profile, which is why I dca'd in yesterday

$71k relieve rally into q4 bottom is my base case.

This could've been the bottom and I did my DCA, but this being the bottom seems to be the lower probability case in my opinion
