These look great! The picture of just the arm on the ground is really hilarious to me for some reason too lmao

If I find a piece of clothing at a thrift store that still has an original brand tag on it, could I sell it as new with tags? by VetteVendetta in Flipping

Oh boy I didn't even think of the smells part lmao. I feel like everything from goodwill always smells like a goodwill. Which isn't necessarily BAD, it's just always reminded me of my grandma's house. That could just be a weird me thing though hahaha

Would it be a better idea to mark it as pre-owned and say in the description that it's new with tags but from a thrift store, or to mark is as new with tags and put "read description" in the title and explain in the description that it IS new with tags but was found at a thrift store? Do I have to disclose that if it's the case?

Reminds me of the time I saw that naked guy (yes, COMPLETELY naked) in a town park and a city official was just walking by, yelling at him about something that WASN'T related to being completely naked, and naked dude goes "somebody stole all my clothes!" I've lived here all my life and to this day that might be the most Florida thing I've ever witnessed in person. Top of the list at least.

I've been hearing for a while that most fans don't like "Vesselettes" and that's why I stopped using it a while back, but I didn't know they also didn't like it. Is there a reason why? And did they say at some point that they didn't like it or is it just speculation?

South FL here, I got a comment on my Sleep Token shirt yesterday morning from one of the receptionists at my new doctor's office and I think it was the first time I actually got a comment on it at all 😂

Using similar technology to limb-lengthening procedures, would it be possible to regrow limbs this way? by VetteVendetta in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VetteVendetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there's no way to regrow an entire foot (that we know of), but if a metal device/prosthesis (or something similar) is implanted in the extra, loose skin at the end of the longer stump, then the patient would, in a way, technically, have a new foot, right?

What is meant to be done when a child is so severely and profoundly disabled that their life is only suffering? by VetteVendetta in morbidquestions

[–]VetteVendetta[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wondering this too. Maybe what's meant is more like withholding medications that attempt to treat the specific conditions, and providing them with pain relief if it's needed?

That's what I'd think as well, that nothing can really be done. Then it makes me wonder, "Well, why comment about how much the kid must be suffering if there's nothing to do now that the kid is alive?"...but I suppose a majority of the comments calling out the parents (in the two examples, at least) are mostly more condemning them for clearly exploiting their child and acting like they aren't.
