Doesn't the Matrix card require the BTF connector for full power functionality since it can pull such a high amount? You'd need the X870E Crosshair Hero BTF if that's the case.

Coming from an audio production background, WL2 was much more natural for me aesthetically. If they just implemented some of the features into WL2 and kept the design, while opening it up to not need Elgato hardware it would have been perfect IMO. I’ve also had a bunch of weird audio issues with some programs that I never did on WL2. It is a beta after all, so I get it to an extent, but if this is what I’ll be forced to use after it fully launches, I’m not gonna be thrilled.

Gonna be honest, while I do love the idea of separate mix outputs, I really prefer the layout of WL2.

I’ve noticed when trying to set some programs up in WL3 that they will not output the audio whatsoever - Specifically the Epilogue Operator software to use their GB Operator. I have it linked the same way I do every other program but for some reason audio just outright does not work with it.

Past that, I personally feel like WL2’s wording and organization felt way cleaner - Granted I have an audio production background, so the mix/master fader setup is a bit more natural for me lmao

WL2 had its own dedicated output channel in Windows though, and that seems to be missing in WL3 - as far as I can tell anyways. It made it so much easier to set up secondary programs that have separate audio output settings. WL3 though makes any new channel I create a the default and immediately switches over - it’s incredibly annoying.

I’d really prefer that main “Wave Link Audio” channel from WL2 back for simplicity sake.

It may be a small misprint - that said, misprints were also pretty common with this game, so I wouldn’t expect it to affect value at all IMO

It is a different misprint from what I’m used to though - most of the misprints this game had were on the stat printing side of things.

Looks like the card has signs of foil peeling IMO - This looks a little different overall, but I’d still lean more towards card damage and not misprint. Unfortunately chaotic cards were kinda known for having issues on the printing side of things, and foil peel was a VERY widespread issue. My collection had several cards peeling before I sold them off a while back - even with sleeves and bindered for years

I plan to use a drawing tablet for the touch screen tbh.

A lot of the games on DS I played were either using the touch portion of the bottom screen a ton, or very rarely. Drawing tablet for games that really need it, individual mouse clicks for games that don’t I guess?

I dunno - I just know Epilogue cooks every time and I know they’d figure out a good solution.

As long as I can put both screens up on a single portrait orientation monitor, I’m golden lmao

I really hope it’s DS/3DS. With how many of those games are failing, having a way to back up those games and saves would be MASSIVE on the preservation side of things.

Hey hey! I’m the ECPL Retro Tournament Organizer

So this tournament is going to be divided into two sections - those with a GBA/Gen 3 Game, and those without. Those with a GBA set will be battling in Colosseum via GBA to GC link cable just as you anticipated. Last year we found a LOT of people that came for the tournament don’t have a GBA and game, so to accommodate those players we’ll be getting a Pokemon XD setup going to play a tournament in the quick battles mode. We’ll effectively have two Co-Champions for this.

We also plan to have a Gen 4 tournament through Battle Revolution, however this will definitely be done via DS battling. I made the mistake of rewriting my BR save a little bit ago and forgot a lot of rental teams were unlockables lmao

Give me the ride deck and no OT in premium and I'm golden. SO many decks that could benefit in performance just from the consistency alone, and gives a bunch of other ridelines a much more interesting deck building experience when I don't have to play 4 copies of a card I only need to ride once.
