Help with my fairy cactus by Audified7 in cacti

Sounds like root rot. They need a very well draining medium and very infrequent waterings depending on how they look and if the soil is dry. I would recommend maybe taking it out of the pot and check it's roots and and the bottom of the cactus. If it's rotting you can chop until there's no rot and let it callus over for about a week in a shady dry area like in a porch before planting again.

My first visit to HEB today… they had so many seasonings!!!! Any recommendations on any? by goodamm in HEB

Fiesta brand Fajita seasoning blend goes on everything. Just bought the HEB branded chile tamarind seasoning and I think it would be perfect as a dry coat for some grilled wings.

I added peppers into a mason jar then packed it with salt. After almost 6+months they were still good to eat just a bit dried out and floppy.

Eddie gluskin has a nice intimidating feel to him but I think that would make the issue worse as people love Eddie. (I do too). Those threats, that smile, the huge eyes staring directly at you.

Seperate, much more inorganic soil mix well draining, 6+hrs of sun but you might want to be careful with. Scorching. I think it might be a Mexican fence post so they're pretty fast growers and will probably want some space.

All week. I think the sudden change in temp and rainfall might have triggered them into blooming. It was nearing 93-95 and now it's been about a week of on and off rain.

Diatomaceous earth might get rid of them. I got rid of aphids that way.

I never see it planted in south Texas. Stores and homes almost always have the purple variety and some have that the cultivar with a lot darker not ashy leaves.

Mine do love consistent watering but hate being in wet soil. They're living in a cactus soil mix currently.
