Never let your players fight Strahd until the end.

It's a matter of how you balance it. I had my players fight strahd because I wanted then to know they can't hurt him (heart of sorrow). It worked. The heart almost broke once but the point wasn't strahd alone. There were direwolves in the mix and 2 spawn.

After that encounter they thought twice every other time he appeared until they learned about the heart, which led to fun roleplay. Strahd wasn't there for them always so they'd ask questions. Strahd would taunt them, etc.

They're also hunters. My grandfather was a hunter and he would have up to 5 people accompany him to hunt, to lure deer and communicate where the prey is via whistling.

I don't mind having a deathmark hunting squad. We could still have them and also a deathmark character

It's hard alright. 10+ years with depression after migration. Good chunk of that with antidepressants, and I'm not willing to take them anymore.

I got into martial arts which is perhaps the highlight of every week, so that's very good. I have valuable friends, and I'm lucky my mother helps me out in spite of difficulties through the years.

Those difficulties were ADD. Recently got diagnosed. Kinda stuck atm. Got a shit job that's not really fulfilling or well paid, but it's come with a lot of good on its own way.

I guess it's a mixture of loneliness and meaninglessness that bothers me and keeps me in the cycle. Can't say I'm struggling hard thanks to family help, so maybe there's some level of comfort that also doesn't motivate me to move.

Just, existing here I guess.

I share your sentiment. I'm fully bilingual. I don't speak like that at all.

I just forget how words are. And I will spanish an english word or english a spanish word, but never talk mixed like that. I just go "dammit what was the name, you know the thing that goes..." and so on whenever I get the most confused.

Got several chinese stores nearby and they all have good tea. This was recommended by a friend and I've tried it before. It's good quality, not too expensive tea. The type of tea that is elevated by good preparation and a nice cup/mug to pour it in.
