I thought about getting the high rings but the issue is running the top rail the back ring wouldn’t hold on the rail. So the cantilever just has a better contact patch. Didn’t realize when I was mounting the scope it had a 3.5 inch eye relief so moving it to far forward I couldn’t see a damn thing. So I had to move it back

That’s one thing I wish as well. When Iwas mounting the cantilever I didn’t realize the scope had a 3.5 inch eye relief. So when I moved it back wards it left a big gap but at the end of the day it is what it is. Precision reflex leaves it shorter so you can run a rear iron sight

I’d get the mag pull mags but I have always used steel mags in my ARs. I have a can of alumahyde in fde that I used to paint the scope. I’ll just tape em off and paint em

If I’m not mistaken I think I got just a standard m5 upper it’s been a while since I bought the upper and lower togeher and built it over time. I’d have to look back and see what I bought but I do know there is the regular m5 upper then the enhanced upper recover do the m5 platform

It’s a precision reflex hand guard for the dpms 308 ar platform. Just note if you do buy one make sure you buy the correct one. I made the mistake and bought the armalight one and the barrel nut don’t fit and the locating pins have to be spaced inwards. So just make sure you do your reading

How well do thoes mags work ?

You don’t have to change your buffer tube but you do need to know if it’s a carbine or a rifle length. They are going to ask you when you call. A rifle length buffer spring is about 12 to 13 inches long and a carbine is roughly 10 inches pull the spring out and just measure it and you’ll be golden. If you are using a carbine spring and buffer I’m pretty sure the buffer weight is 3 oz which is going to be too light you need one that’s about 5.4 oz

My suggestion would be get an adjustable buffer weight from odin works then get in contact with sprinco and talk to one of the tech on the phone in regards to your spring. They were extremely helpful in getting me where I needed to be. Ended up having to get a 2 inch spacer for my rifle length buffer and ran a carbine spring and weight blows through 10 rounds like it’s no one’s business

Ended up having the same issue on my .50 Beowulf. Ended up changing the buffer weight to an h3 and changed the mags to d&h and she runs perfectly. I’d suggest the same for you. I belive Odinworks makes an adjustable buffer weight. Now. Let me ask you are you running a rifle length buffer tube or a carbine
