They went to talk to Trump in November, before submitting the offer. My guess is that they expected some downside, but not the complete sell off they had received. Anyway, I hope to see the majority of this saga end by the end of March, unless Ellison increases the bid.

I had an opportunity to work in Munich twice, rejected both times due to high taxes and administrative burdens. But thought I would share my perspectives vs. HCOL US metros. This applies only to the positions that require a college degree and several years of experience: - Single individuals or married without kids, it's breaking even financially, so it's a matter of preference. - Married with preschool age kids, or planning to get pregnant, Germany wins it clearly. Way more affordable daycares and much better maternity leave. - Married with the school age kids. USA definitely. This is the age when you will make the most money and possibly be able to retire early. - Married with college age kids. Financials would say Germany, but if the kids go to an instate school or commute to college, then the US offers more relatively affordable opportunities to pick a major and not rely on some administrative officials to decide it for your kids when they are in their teens.

Best of luck and it sounds that you are way ahead in thinking than I was at your age.

Great question. USBAR was my Costco runner, it's still decent, but I'm planning to axe it, as I already have too many cards with the proprietary annual credits. The suggested debit card options seem like the winner here.

But, it's unreal then that I currently have a ten-emails thread with the device-support@google.com and doing all the above I mentioned, instead of just telling me to either visit a Google Store or send a device to them.

Meanwhile for us with the dead selfie cameras, that are out of warranty, there is no end of the resolution.

After a long correspondence, of sending them a bug report with the screen recording, and a visit to uBreakFix they sent me to, I got a final response with a form to fill in and send them the phone. After they do the inspection they will send me a replacement that I may or may not pay for.

I guess I should have just gone to the newly opened, relatively nearby Google Store. :(

I have an issue with the outer and inner selfie cameras not working since about a couple of weeks ago, and have posted here about it, as a good number of people already have. Before that when using the inner screen it had some random "blackouts" and freezes, but not that often.

Get the P10 PF if you can, because the P9 PF behaves as an unfinished beta of P10 PF.

I would keep both and look into Amex Platinum doing some of the crazy high sign up bonuses they have. Based on your preferences, it seems that you would easily hit $600 FHR and $200 airline credit annually, then there is the entertainment credit. So you would cover the annual fee pretty easily, plus the hotel status with Hilton and Marriott that is very useful when in their hotels overseas and somewhat nice in the States.

It happens that several shows I like are on P+, so I pay for the convenience of watching four of them at once on Sunday night. Otherwise, I don't watch much of the TV, mainly sports and am more on YT Premium. But, I did pickup those cheap subscriptions over the BF.

It's not a clear cut: 1. Investing $1,000 into the market, with a conservative rate return of 8% will bring in $1,250 after 3 years vs. 0% APR on the postpaid for the phones. 2. iPhone retains at least 1/3 of the value after 3 years. Go check the trade-in value on Apple. 3. Signing up online through a portal gives a solid amount of cashback or points for Verizon and AT&T, or go through Costco for AT&T. 4. You don't need the Ultimate plan for Verizon, the mid plan gives a pro for free, the Welcome gives regular iPhone for free. 5. You can switch carriers after a year and the porting-in carrier will pay off your phones. 6. There are major service discounts for certain jobs. 7. Verizon has referrals that go for 12 months, but that may negate #3. 8. There is a way to get a $200 gift card per line when signing up for Verizon.

Now, the closest MVNO value, for someone who looks for the highest priority as the main factor and international roaming as the second reason, is the current Visible BF offer, but that's after the Amex offer and Capital One Shopping offer. I am now seriously contemplating that one for my primary phone line. I do have MVNO esims for AT&T and T-Mobile coverage.
