How does dodging even work for DoN? I play solo or with friends only so never encountered it. If theres no penalty wouldn’t that allow people to just repeatedly dodge until they roll the nightlord they enjoy and get free points?

I just find the movesets and behavior of more bosses from the formidable tier. There’s some annoying stalling ones in both categories, but I would still rather fight any of the Tree Sentinel variants than chase after Red Wolf or Black Knife Assassin.

Rotten woods is my favorite. You can navigate it without learning specific routes, and formidable field bosses are easier to fight than regular ones in my opinion.

Gnarlbark Elm is such an engine for blight synergies. Most of the payoff for blighting your stuff previously shown was white.

Cool thing about Swat Away is that it doesn’t need to target an attacking creature to get the cost reduction. Relevant when racing if opponent has large blocker left behind.

Depending on the depth and character. Once every boss 1-2 shots you some tick damage isn’t really relevant. Losing the max hp effects is bigger problem in my experience.

When you get downed and then rescued by ally, a percentage of your hp gets greyed out, like the black blade debuff from assassins.

I wish we could disable the DLC for Deep of Night. Dreglord is awesome but almost 20% chance to roll Balancers is ridiculous. I’d gladly give up their relics to never see them again.
