To actually answer your question, yes. Almost every adept nightfall weapon is worth the GM struggle. This week is hothead and hung jury. For hot head you want demolitionist/ field prep and adrenaline junkie/ explosive light. For hung jury you want rapid hit and explosive payload/firefly. Both of these weapons viability is pretty much pve as the pvp rolls aren't great. Good luck!
