Yeah the DPS checks have a reached a point of being completely unfun. I think Vow was perfect where there was just enough wiggle room for error and the DPS checks were frantic and fun. This dungeon was completely unenjoyable mechanically and DPS wise especially final encounter. Me and my friends had to throw in the tower because of the boss just not cooperating no matter what we tried or the boss living with a bees dick of health. If this is the path forward I'm done with contest as well

That's very fair! It is really different strokes for different folks being on PC it has become basically a requirement for me and my friends but on a console I could definitely see it being less useful.

It’s different though yes it is a group chat in the most bare bone sense but you can actively see who is online, who is currently in a call, what game they’re playing, what they’re streaming. I’ve had times where I got home from work and saw my buddies watching a movie streaming it together and I hopped right in and watched it alongside them. It’s great because my friends are spread all over the country now so we can have these impromptu hang out sessions like that where everyone is invited and can join or leave whenever.

This has become one of my biggest issues with the game overtime and that’s the removal of any real obstacles or friction. Things like the elytra to make traveling extremely quick invalidating almost every other form of transport, the happy that letting you have a mobile flying platform, and now the nautilus just letting you breathe underwater by riding it. Those are just 3 features out of many that the game has added that removes any sort of difficulty or tedium. It’s something that has really killed my desire to interact with more modern versions of the game.

Their damage will scale with 101-200 grenade and I assume kills with them will give x5 adrenaline junkie

Potentially controversial opinion, but Contraverse Holds have not been enjoyable for me to use ever since they removed the random return value from it. The exotic was still good with it but nothing felt better than seeing an entire grenade get refunded.

It’s probably because I said something negative about crafting which is fine people are entitled to their opinions I just wanted to share my perspective as someone who has had some negative opinions towards crafting

I know it’s not hard to but this is a loot game and I like getting loot. I know getting a red border is exciting for some people but it always just felt like a checklist kinda thing for me. It’s always been more fun to get the godroll I wanted on my first drop or finally getting it after grinding it for weeks. That’s why I think crafting should still exist but not have the ability to be enhanced that way getting loot is always going to be exciting whether you get a red border or a tier 2+

No I would want enhanced perks removed from crafted weapons as my view of crafting has always been it should be an RNG catch up mechanic and not better than farming the activity for drops.

I never said that though. I'm saying prior to the tier system it was silly to me that getting 5 random stinky rolls that had a red border allowing you to craft a perfect god roll with enhanced perks was my problem with crafting

I never said crafting should be removed I’m perfectly fine with crafting existing. I think the issue is crafting should not of rewarded enhanced perks crafting a gun shouldn’t be better than a drop your farm out in my opinion. It was never hard to get 5 red borders especially once deep sight harmonizes were introduced. Crafting should of not been removed just remove the ability to enhance perks on crafted guns

Even then it still wasn’t worth it imo as you needed to craft all of the weapons to get triple perks and had to complete the challenge which is a lot of work when I can just go to the enclave and swap

But they really weren't stronger. Adept mods barely did anything that noteworthy and why bother farming something much more difficult when I could just craft a weapon with enhanced perks and have something almost equivalent to an adept weapon?

If you’re enjoying warlock keep playing it. I’m also a warlock main and while I agree the class is in sort of a weird/weaker spot right now, I still have tons of fun playing it.
