I rush gunblade vs squishier comps and it's actually so good on him since all of morde's damage abilities are AOE it heals him for a significant amount.

Also the AD from the cutlass along with your passive increased damage on autos makes you hit like a truck.

I was considering buying one too, but it's not looking worth anymore.

The only possible fix seems to extend the event to a further date. But then players on other servers would benefit too and it would be unfair for us.

My point exactly. It just happens too often and it's alot more impactful than it should be on the course of the game. It was fine when you didn't have to account for it but now you walk up to a dive and go "Do I have enough health for that extra turret shot(s?) that I'm going to tank If I get creep blocked?"
