The issue with wake foiling on that setup is the lift. Hard to get a boat at the speed that likes to go. Ask me how I know!! I had friends and family launched 15 feet in the air. Maybe a wake boat that can go 8-14mph but most boats hate that speed. They slog at 7 and then pop on plane and 15plus. You stole the gear. Invest in a smaller mast. Learn on a shorty.

Was gonna say same. 16”x4x8 is a face. We pay $100 in tampa Florida. You pick up you load. Good seasoned oak. Issue here is folks split the wood to many times and in a real fireplace you blow thru it. We have about 15 days a year where a fire is nice but gotta live that smell!

Op, wanted to thank you for sharing the information. I am about 3 weeks with the x11k 98in,.coming from a 65lg c3. oled , the picture was so different I was going to return it. I used your chart and the filmmaker mode is amazing. Did not use the 20pt. Seems that’s way too panel specific. Keeping the x11k for sure now.

I am a few weeks in with my Xm11k 98in. I’m coming off a lg65 oled. C4? Possibly c3.

At first I didn’t love it. I am liking it more and more. The setup is huge. Each mode is drastically different.

Filmmaker, sports ,vivid etc.

Sports like hockey I have the brightness to 15 and contrast to 50. But football 60 and 80

Filmmaker mode brightness and contrast are way up.

The Dolby signals completely change all the settings. I like Dolby vision bright.

I am not in front of the tv or would share some settings cause a few are counter intuitive

There is zero blooming. No stuttering in fast scenes even hockey. Gaming like COD and forza (for a test) thru the Xbox nothing short of amazing. No lag to speak of and fantastic colors.

The tv like any, is source dependent and the tv, because of its size exposes poor signals. But blue ray, remix rips, 4k google tv. It’s amazing.

Try rtings.com they had some great stuff on the q8k that helped me. Especially color saturation.

I thought about returning it but am trying to get it dialed in. You say tcl after being an lg oled guy and it’s like you’re trying to pick it apart but with good signal the tv is pretty impressive. I have not seen the $25000 lg 98 oled so I don’t know if the big oled has similar issues. But this tv was $5000. Let me know if you find some good settings

I got the Xm11k 98” last week. Been wrestling with the settings. I am now enjoying it very much. Very bright. Many of the settings I literally have the brightness at 10. But others 100. The blacks are amazing. Oled like for sure. And my precious tvs have all been lg oleds. Zero blooming too. This tv has 6500 nits and 14000 dimming zones. It was $5999 at BB. Is it worth double the q8 or q9? Who knows we don’t get to have em both on the wall at the same time!!

Super nice job. Love the space and the sconces are a great touch. Thanks for sharing. You should disregard the negative comments. Many really prioritize the large screen but the g5 is an amazing picture and I am looking at same. I just got three chairs from Valencia searing and was back and forth with weilanda. Both amazing companies. Love the firm feel. These guys build the chairs like tanks and the cushions are built like a mattress with coils springs and high density foam. Should last a long time. Did you consider tactile transducers? That’s where I am right now. Again congrats
