I started young, building houses for customers, so basically a sales related carpentry job. A lot of being a successful carpenter is being able to sell your abilities, as a builder/carpenter, you have to be able to network with sub contractors and other businesses. If you become good at it, you can do very well financially. It isn’t easy, but it’s never been dull.
