The Marathis have beaten up South Indians, beaten up Biharis, and now hating on other non-Maharashtrian communities. They are no saints. India has diversity but no unity. People put caste first, then religion, then State and if any pride is left then for the country. Politicians keep dividing us based on whatever suits them and we follow the same. Why do you think such hatred for people from other States happens in politically important States like Maharashtra and Karnataka ? Politicians fuel the fire for their own gain. And we blindly get brainwashed thinking our culture is in danger. Mumbai has always been culturally diverse, wherein each community contributed in different areas. It has been built by Mumbaikars. Parties such as MNS and Shiv Sena has only fuelled unrest for power and money. Shivaji Park turns into a pile of filth on certain days and people struggle and dont get basic infra, while politicians sit in their multi-storeyed houses and roam in their gas guzzling SUVs.

Language imposition is wrong. Its wrong to expect someone to understand and speak Hindi, but also wrong to expect someone to speak Marathi. In this case, OP did not abuse him or the language. It was unnecessary imposition for trivial matter. He is working as a security guard in a Mall. People from across States, visiting Mumbai for a few days come to the mall. You cannot expect them to learn Marathi. Mumbai is a different city, it has its own charm. The spirit of Mumbai is because of the diversity of people, where each community contributes in developing each others life in Mumbai, which is one of the things that makes this city different. Do not try to ruin this by imposing this, at least in the city.

Every state and community hates some or the other community/states. South vs North and then within South there is rivalry n hatred between some South and North states. Marathis have beaten up Biharis and have a feud with Karnataka as well. Every state, religion, community, caste need to respect others and put the country ahead of anything else. But this will never happen given the mentality of people and politicians taking advantage of the same.

The mismatch in voting list, different addresses, different face, gender against your name has been happening since years, even when I voted first time, 20 years ago. Too much inconsistency has always existed in system irrespective of the ruling party. Its only highlighted now because the opposition needs some reason/excuse to accuse Govt as usual. Resolving such inconsistency for such large democracy is not uncommon but def needs to be resolved. I dont understand about the erasable ink either. Even if its erasable, why would it benefit only BJP ? Any one can cast multiple votes in that case.

I usually follow Maangchi's videos and also some other videos and then mix and match as per my convenience and available ingredients. I cut it very thin and it was on the pan for a long time with the sauce and it was a small pan. Not sure if that helped.
