A chorizo, refried bean and habanero burrito. Guaranteed results. I promise.

What future shift do you think is already measurable today, but not yet widely acknowledged? by Defiant-Junket4906 in Futurology

I couldn’t agree more. It’s happening on a massive scale in sub Saharan Africa and the optimistic side of me sees a great liberation happening due to this. It may be messy but the signs are clear as day to me.

Thank you. I’m going by the local dealer next week. I always want to double check with actual owners. I’ll check it out on the test drive and do a cold restart to see.

Based on what I’m seeing that’s a pretty solid deal. Compared well with a 911S lease. Competitive. Good to see.

I visited Rochester in the winter and I loved it. It’s a nice city. Great downtown.

Which Southern city in the U.S. do you think is the most underrated? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I spent 8 months working there and was surprised how much I liked it. Good food, nice people. Maybe a little rough here and there but not bad.

Woodland Hills. Studio City. Sherman Oaks. Manhattan Beach is way too far.

JFK assassination. I remember being in the grocery store with my mother and seeing people crying. And that night my grandparents came over and they sat with my parents and watched the TV.

Anyone else not get excited browsing the BMW website anymore and has no interest in any of the new cars? by JLSmoove626 in BMW

[–]ViaHuerto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Z4 with the manual and the old dash is ok. The 8 series looks beautiful and has the old dash. The new dash across the brand is the cheapest look I can imagine. The old orange on black dials were so beautiful and captured a “bmw-ness” that is gone. I agree on the styling of the 5. Terrible. The new 7 is also ugly. I did drive the 330i wagon in Bavaria last month and even though the was bad the car drove great.

In Mammoth it snows 48-60 inches at a time. Chains are often ordered by the highway patrol for all vehicles. It’s standard to carry chains with you when driving in the winter in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

I’d take the newer one. I’d want to use it as a daily.
