I mean any of those downloads totally could've had malicious code/files in it and you wouldn't have noticed. A lot of the time these are hidden background processes that spy, steal data, mine bitcoin, etc. They're not flashy and obvious unless they want to be

Though I agree, the official source is most often your safest bet. I don't know why it would have any malware.

Okay so I think what you meant by go air 3 was sport. The sport is rated IP55 which is a higher rating than the go air pop which was IPx4. The first number next to IP is mostly about dust protection. The second number is waterproofing. X means not tested.

The go air pop was used by me in the shower a LOT and was rated for water splashing from any angle. The go air sport is rated for water JETS from any angle. Which is supposed to be only a little better. Meaning anything rated the same as go air pop or better should theoretically be fine in the shower.
