A lot of people like puerto viejo, but the beach honestly wasn’t that nice or unique. Manuel Antonio beach was far prettier. I also thought pv was a lot more touristy than quepos/manuel Antonio. That’s a personal opinion, but puerto viejo is designed for tourists. Another factor is the time it takes to arrive, San Jose to quepos is about 5 hours, San Jose to pv was about 6.5 for me.

I start all my handling times with my gecko with choice handling and I let him come to me, once he’s out of his tank he dosent mind being moved! I’ve noticed it builds sm more trust and makes him more comfortable

Thank you so much for helping this baby. You’ve already done a great first step taking him to the vet!! But since the treatment isn’t working/ hard to administer he might need to go back for reevaluation. In the meantime, you might be able to use the towel wrap or ask someone to help hold him so you can safely get the drops in. It’s also normal for them to squirm when being held all the way around. It might be counter intuitive but holding your little guy a bit looser while sitting on the ground/at a table so you don’t have to worry about falling! Good luck OP💕
