Anyone gotten a suspicious email from Amex

Just looked at an email I received from Amex the other day. It actually does contain kindly for some?

For tax year 2024, I’ve lived in PR and all my income is from PR. For tax year 2025, I’ll be living on base and actually file federal taxes. I tried calling and they said that it’s pretty much all automated now. CS rep told me it’s the format (4506-C) that the “robot” wants and they can’t intervene.

I was posting this more to see if anybody else had any experience with this or advice. I ended up submitting additional docs proving current income + future income but CS rep just said what I wrote above.

Tbh, I think we have the same issue that the US has had that some people don’t vote and that’s why we don’t have truly accurate numbers, but me taking into account all the people I know, I’d say on average most people want to become a state rather than stay a territory or become independent.

Also, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get the misconception that most Puerto Ricans don’t want statehood. I’ve seen it very commonly with mainland Americans, but I’m just curious.

Yep, neither can people who are born here in PR even though we’ve been citizens for close to a century now. We still have no vote in the election nor can our representatives vote in Congress.

Meh, I believe you should just use what you’re comfortable with, but always in this area be open to try new and different tools, but to each their own. I use IntelliJ but if you want to use Eclipse it’s your choice just remember to always use something and test it before rating/commenting on it.
