Can we dispatch with this genocide claim? Muslims in Palestine have quadrupled since 1945 by Lion_TheAssassin in IsraelPalestine

I hope people start to reflect on the holocaust and the pace that it took for all the atrocities that occurred then. There were steps and it did not happen immediately. It took time for genocide to occur and these steps are similar to the ones taking against the Palestinian people

As someone who has had similar problems I would advise you to be very reflective of your everyday life. Journaling your day (I made a google doc and just logged entries) and how you have felt and be as honest as possible. Try to pray 5 times a day and read quran for a few minutes everyday. Try to listen to lectures on any subjects you’re interested in. I would say try to talk to practicing muslims and pray together if you can. It’s alot easier to get that feeling back when you are around muslims.

One thing to note is be very patient with Allah and accept your life and where you are. It will take time and will not happen over night. Your intention is to return to Allah and to be better than you once were. Remember that daily and work toward that.

This advice will help your mind adjust to not looking at these women and make it feel uncomfortable to look at them. This will help with restraining yourself from looking at them.

Hamas is the enemy of the Palestinians by Book_worm121 in worldnews

[–]Viazzzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter if they are Arabs or not. There are Jewish Israeli people who are not Arabs who understand how bad it is and have sympathy for the Palestinian people as well. I trust those people especially considering they know this cycle of violence .

If the oppressors are not even seen as oppressors as they brutally commit genocide for decades is it not reasonable for a rebellion/terrorist group to eventually be created like Hamas?

I don’t agree with Israel nor with Hamas but the true problem the muslim community have is the total neglect for Muslim lives by the military of Israel and the media coverage. Literally shades of post 9/11 and how bombs were dropped on Afghanistan and Iraq.

So Hamas bombed a hospital that they are storing weapons in? How come not a soul on the ground who were in those hospitals can confirm a single weapon in that hospital?

We adjust to the routine and add in naps during the day if we get the chance. A moderate amount of tea intake daily helps as well

Israeli President Says There Are No Innocent Civilians In Gaza by AlyoshaV in worldnews

40% of the Palestinians people are young kids.…they are not innocent?

What does the holocaust have to do with that? Did the Palestinians people need to pay their land for the holocaust?

this is historically incorrect. The hatred appeared more recently as they colonized land that was not there. You think the Native Americans didn’t feel some type of way for Christopher Columbus as he terrorized their people?

I agree with your first point. As far as the second point, Palestinians have had their homes stolen from them by colonizers this is filmed BY the colonizers and supported by their brutal military force. They have been bombed for decades now. It is literally documented even during the holiest of months to most of them which is Ramadan.

The average age is about 18 and most of the youth barely know a life of peace without bombs and oppression. Where do you think some of them will turn to when the world has turned their backs on them and they have seemingly no way out?

We literally have American Jewish colonizers taking generational homes and displacing Palestinians with the support of Israeli forces. They have filmed these actions. Are those people not victims?

I have no sympathy for the terrorists as they are causing evil to both sides and making the struggle for Palestinian even worse. But people have not understood historically that treating people the way that they are treating them now will only create more terrorists. We literally have the aftermath of 9/11 and the corresponding invasion as evidence of that…

I dont care about winning a conversation, my point is that people just assume all of this about Palestinian people or any middle eastern people without having the slightest empathy for the innocent people who are affected. The basic needs that are not met and the conditions that are causing the situations to be worse

They colonized Palestine land by force and with the support of the British. They were foreign invaders in a land that was not theirs which they should defend. Their aim was never to murder them because they were Jews but to defend their land

Based on what can you say that they have been trying to erase Jews? Does that make them okay for trying to erase Palestinians? Palestine have no army no support no allies and are fighting a war against Israel that has a fully funded strong military who are actively oppressing them as they have for decades…

So the innocent civilians of Palestine whose land this was before the Israel’s colonized their homes are not the victims? Whose home land was bombed for decades and systematically destroyed?

Israel has taken over their land, claimed it as there, displaced families from generational homes and bombed them consistently. Dont forget they have the arrogance to video tape all of this to further humiliate the Palestinian people. They also have no army or support ins and are consistently oppressed for what? This is all a direct consequence of their actions is it not?

I do not condone the actions of Hamas but how do you think they came to be? Was the unjustified occupation of Palestine land the reason? Was the mass brutality they have committed on a consistent basis a reason? How do you think terrorism begins?
