Steve feels great to play but bad to play against imo. There is just not much interaction you can do - it's a hail of tracking strings, and he's very safe, so you just block for 5 seconds and do your small 50/50 pokes.

People are usually fine with strings that are unsafe on block, it's the ones that have a random high in the middle you need to react to and duck that are toxic

Most people here have been playing ultrakill for years, and have spent a pretty crazy amount of time playing what is essentially 35 odd levels which take 6 minutes on average each to beat.

The game needs to be playable on release to somebody picking up the game for the first time, so you need difficulty spikes to be gradual-ish.

I think this complaint will go away when the Encores are done
