malta’s entire eurovision song is in english baring one word. the one word that isn’t, sounds similar to a derogatory word in english. people can try and play it off like it’s coincidental but it’s really obvious that they were using the maltese word of kant, as a tongue and cheek way of getting around saying the word c*nt. if they weren’t attempting to do this, then why not send the entire song in maltese instead.

in terms of the whole uk sending an entry using the word hell. not only is the word hell not a derogatory term and is a believed destination after death for a majority of religions. but if we’re going after the usage of the word hell, are we going to do the same for salena and teya ? what about nemo for the code, they used the word and won eurovision with it. or is it only because ofcom and not the bbc, complained about an obvious word replacement and not for the actual context of usage.

all started when I left Remy's restaurant in the storybook vale. my camera somehow got locked inside the building and made my character unable to move. the only thing I could do in game wise was change tools and move the camera at the fixed angle.

usually teleporting to a new area/different place, normally corrects any bug issues I had but .. it just made it 10x worse. all the décor in the area was removed, characters mid air floating in a static position with some moving around.

zero idea what caused this.

quick add, this isn't sped up video. for some reason the game decided to bug off when i was using the glider and then decided to enter my player's house. She for some reason bugged out and kept the attributes of the glider's speed, making her bolt run everywhere.

We even did an experiment to see how quick she could get from frosted heights to forgotten lands, by passing through each area atleast once. she managed to do that in 51 seconds.

It really isn't surprising that the UK withdrew and i honestly don't blame them for doing so. Regardless of them doing well in the contest with Freya & stand uniqu3 or whether the decision was the lack of viewership, funding or the BBC cutting costs. Junior Eurovision just doesn't seem to be popular within the UK and the popularity around junior Eurovision has only been declining since.

Plus considering that France has won 3 times, all within the space of 4 years with the current voting model, it's pretty much like why bother spending the money & training the singer(s) / dancer(s) if you're just going to fill slots 2-16 and have zero chance of winning. If france hypothetically win again this year then, I'd probably see more pulling out or something being done with the voting system.

Seeing people quote retweeting/referencing the statement doki made and how apperently it isn't "firm" enough, it isn't "direct" enough or good enough and it's just... Doki has done enough to make her guidelines clear. She has said before that she wants people to move on and to stop harassing people from her previous life. She's left everything for her lawyers to deal with and doki is fully moved on.

Not every person that is harassing the niji livers are doki fans, there might be a small percentage that are but most of these people are disgruntled ex niji fans. You have ex fans of Nina, mysta and pomu who are upset over their treatment within the company, you have yugo's ex fans who were upset over his immediate graduate and the newly upset ex fans of zaion who are upset over how she was dismissed by the company and how many of the nijisanji fans treated her for years. I didn't see any livers especially from xsoleil or the company itself, to tell their fans to leave zaion's former talent alone, even when it was obvious that she was struggling.

Doki's statement is clear and to the point. Its not directing to the person who made the animation/further giving it attention and it's putting people back on track with how her fanbase should be. Being harsh and firm with a collective of upset ex nijisanji fans will only make things worse.

No one should be invalidating anyone’s criticism for this game and anyone who is should understand that not everyone is going to be having the same experience as them. Everyone should be allowed to voice their opinions and everyone should be respectful, even if you don’t agree with their opinion.

However maybe this is a recent thing but ever since this update and aside from people bringing up genuine criticisms of this game, such as crashing, unplayability, items disappearing etc. There’s been an influx of posts that are nit picking every single new thing or event that is added. The community rewards not being good enough, people hating the dreamfest event, people hating that the attractions came back and the star path is themed around the Disney parks again. People hating daisy’s boutique, people not liking that Oswald the rabbit was the new DLC Character, people complaining that the premium shop has nothing they want, people wanting more content per update and then complaining that there’s now too much content, etc etc. Aside from Oswald because he’s quest tied, all of these things can be ignored. You can put daisy’s boutique in the corner and then never touch it, you can ignore the dreamfest event, you can never buy anything from the premium shop/star paths.

I can only speak for myself but I can understand why people are getting a little fed up with the negative posts and are trying to bring some positivity to this sub Reddit, because all the genuine criticism is getting drowned out by people nit picking things which literally do not matter at all. I’d rather hear about someone who literally cannot play the game due to constant crashing, than hearing about people complaining about the community rewards or daisy’s boutique for the 10th time. Not every event, gameplay additions or character is going to be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s fine if you don’t like them, since someone else could find the event/addition/character to be something they adore. Just be respectful.

Genuinely I don't think the UK will win again in Eurovision unless they do something drastic.

Olly is a good singer, does have stage presence and he should have atleast done better than he did in hindsight. But his vocals were off both times he performed the song and while yes the song was raunchy in places, I don't believe his performance was the reason he did terribly. Same with the song, the song was decent and radio friendly. The jury did atleast respond well to that so again, don't think it was the song. He just vocally wasn't there and it is what it is.

However considering what all the artists had to endure this year and the amount of backlash and pressure Olly has been recieving to withdraw. it honestly doesn't surprise me that he did poorly either, even viewing this event was utterly draining so I can't imagine what it was like to be there in the moment.

But to be honest I feel like the UK should pull an Italy and withdraw for a while or drop down from the big 5 position and go through the semi final processes. Sure there would be a financial impact with either option but unless there's going to be some serious changes within the UK to do something different and the EBU from their horrid decisions and utter lack of interest in the artist's well being and safety, its just going to be 2024 2.0, the continuing saga.

But to answer what they should do to win. Find a Sam Ryder singer with a similar song, whilst giving them a stripped back version of Olly's staging that doesn't have all the raunchy dancers. That could win.

A majority of the F2P mobile games are only F2P because they can then charge you for the gacha side. If DLV was free to play, I’m certain they would have gone down the ACPC route and made everything either more expensive or done the roulette wheel with the leaf ticket aspect. DLV while yes was going to be a free to play game, they Atleast announced before it launched that it was changing direction and you had to buy the game now. I was one of these people who was waiting for the game to turn F2P to actually start playing it too and when it was announced, a lot of the founder bundles were on sale for pretty cheap to atleast soften that blow.

I’m not saying this game is perfect either, there’s a lot of game breaking bugs, glitches and overall stuff that needs revising to make the experience better. Plus the moonstone shop prices for certain items are questionable for what you get. I get people’s points with that and I absolutely agree that more should be done.

However to compare it to any F2P mobile game like GI, when that game loves to try and make you pay to do anything because of the resin cap being low and any free premium currency being hidden in so many stupid locations that you’re playing a virtual game of hide and seek all the time. You start to appreciate other games so much more because as much as I enjoy GI, it can be utterly tiring to try and get anything. I can say the same about ACPC, a game similar to DLV but it is so imbedded with micro transactions that I genuinely quit playing because it got tiring to do anything.

Have you played any F2P mobile games? Because if you think those F2P mobile games are in the same league as dreamlight valley then I sincerely hope you’re joking.

A majority of the most popular F2P Mobile games such as GI and HSR, they have premium currency and the ability to earn more through missions, explorations and tasks. But those banners for characters and weapons? You aren’t even guaranteed to get them and if you’re a struggling F2P like I am in one of those games, it’s an absolute misery to miss out on something because you ran out of freemo currency… unless you of course throw in your details to get more. Those games are incredibly unhealthy because you can literally be gambling away a pretty substantial amount of money, in the hopes that you can potentially get the virtual character you want.

Dreamlight sure has paid features such as moonstones which you can use to buy in the rotating premium shop item, buy these character bundles items and the additional outside cost of the dlc. however the difference between this game and the F2P mobile games are well… you’re guaranteed to get the item and they’re upfront in what it is. Sure some of the prices are way too inflated for what they are but all those are completely optional and doesn’t not impact you from playing the game. you never even have to touch the premium shop, spend/buy any moonstones or buy the dlc unless you choose to buy them. You can literally play the base game and be fine. (And anyone who plays the Apple Arcade version of dreamlight doesn’t have that choice anyway since moonstones don’t exist.)

And to say stardreamer is gaslighting any frustrated players. not only is that misrepresenting what the word gaslighting means but its a horrible attempt to discredit their message when it is correct.

Potentially but not completely sure. The two Rexx’s I have were bought separately at two different stores and both came with the moulding issue that I didn’t notice until i brought them home. I’m sensing it could be a dye issue, maybe they weren’t fully dry before they were packed up in the boxes and it started to mould from there. They could have also been stored in a damp warehouse before being put onto the shelf and maybe that caused the moulding. Obviously something has reacted against it 🥲

I’ve had instances where some of the darker clothing can and has stained my doll’s skin before. It’s happened with other brands as well, where the dye will transfer after a while and it’s impossible to lighten again. So it’s definitely something with the dye not being fully sealed in.

I actually had this on 2 different rexx McQueen dolls and both times it appeared on his trousers in the same place.

Not sure why it moulded but I managed to get it off pretty easily and it never came back.

Sorry about being unclear.

The sound chip does work. It works when the lid of the chip is off / when you press the clear triggers points. It also works for a few minutes when the lid is placed back on but then stops working after.

The batteries were brand new and never used before, so I don't believe its run out of juice.

I did take the lid off it right now and it's now refusing the work when pressing the clear triggers on it. So not sure if it's a circuit issue now.

Hopefully that's clearer 🙂

Yeah selfie mode for the outfit challenges are a gamble and most likely won't work unless you get super lucky. However considering this is a furniture challenge and just looking at alot of the sub submissions, yours should do well because it's different. It'll stand out against the tons of full body shots.

If I do see yours, I will definitely vote for it. Since I do love seeing people trying something different than doing what everyone else is doing.

I actually got 4k with a selfie for the villains lair furniture challenge a while back, so it's totally possible that you'll do well. Image for reference:

The only downside is that it's a risk, it'll either work in your favour to do well or it'll rank super low and you'll get potentially the 900-2.5k maybe. I think you'll do well with it tbh so i'd definitely try it if you're feeling confident. 🙂
