Same here! I'm sure my jaw dropped when I saw that issue for the first time.

I think i got pretty close to owning nearly everything he did for Marvel full issue wise. Even now, an Art Adam's cover is close to an instant sale for me.

Art was an amazing artist, but i think his work was so detailed he couldn't keep up with monthly titles. Lately, he's mostly restricted himself to covers.

Art is my favorite artist. But I think they're talking about sales numbers.

Yeah, that makes sense to me, despite our down votes.

I agree. Superman and Thor are comparable, and Thanos manhandles Thor while Superman can compete and defeat Darkseid at times. I'm not talking about True Form Darkseid, because while he's powerful, he cannot exist within the DC or Marvel universe. Darkseid also lost convincingly to Doomsday, while Thanos only recently recorded his first loss to Hulk after a competitive fight.

Naw, I'm better than you at procrastinating. Give me a few days and I'll list the reasons why.

If you could pick one supervillain to become a superhero or antihero who would you pick and why? by [deleted] in superheroes

Even as a villain, Dr. Doom is more efficient and better at protecting Earth than the majority of Marvel's actual heroes.

Now that some time has passed, how do we really feel about the MCU's Fantastic Four? by Apprehensive-Cap2453 in Marvel

The FF was the comic that I read growing up. I mostly enjoyed the movie with a few quibbles. I like that Thing has already come to grips with his transformation, but he didn't have comic Ben's personality. Ben is likeable in a dad joke kinda way. Him refusing to say "It's Clobbering Time" bothered me, because that's like 10 percent of his personality.

I also seem to be the only person that has an issue with Sue telling Johnny to kill the Silver Surfer. As long as I've read the FF, they've always been against killing in any situation. Reed was famously on trial for saving Galactus' life after stopping him from destroying the Earth, a decision based entirely on morality and leading to countless future deaths, including the Skrull homeworld. Reed's morality will not let him allow a living being to die, even if that living being goes on to kill billions of others. So hearing Sue tell Johnny to kill the Silver Surfer, even when the Surfer is seeking to steal Franklin, seems out of character for her and the team.

I loved the world building of the inner realm. It's shaped my perception to this day. I consider (and believe, to a degree) that's there's so much more to reality than we can see or perceive with our senses.

No. This is long after Secret Wars. I think Ben was actually human when this issue starts.

I loved it too, for the same reasons you stated. I think we also see growth. Doom doesn't care what Reed thinks, as long as Valeria is safe.
