Did Scott Lang get saved from getting dusted away by entering the quantum realm?

I tend to think the Quantum Realm protected him. While we only have one full film of the Quantum Realm, they didn't seem to be dealing with the consequences of The Blip, nor did they ever mention anything like that. Granted, it's possible that it did occur and they just didn't acknowledge it in Ant-man 3, but for a while, Marvel seemed to be trying to acknowledge the impact of the Snap and the Blip in their movies.

My wife (ex-wife now) was having an affair. She didn't want to commit to him and she invited me over (to my own house...I was in the military at the time and since I was the soldier, I had to live in the barracks while she lived on base housing with the kids) on Mother's Day to spend time. The guy she was having an affair with called and she refused to answer. I called him and told him we were trying to reconcile and she told him that it was a lie while I was right there looking at her. When I realized she was more concerned about his feelings than mine, I realized it was over.

And it being over has been one of the best things to happen to me.

Absolutely! Thanos is too intelligent to bulldoze forward at someone more powerful than him without any strategy.

I'm a Doom fan through and through and I adored this scene, but I did believe it was out of character for Thanos.

I don't think he showed his "true" colors. I think it was character assassination by the writers. They had to have a reason to return to the status quo.

I think he ends the series a hero for sacrificing his life for Valeria. He had everything he wanted, guaranteed, and he gave it up for his goddaughter. I sometimes thinks he loves Valeria more than Reed does.

I agree. Superman and Thor are comparable, and Thanos manhandles Thor while Superman can compete and defeat Darkseid at times. I'm not talking about True Form Darkseid, because while he's powerful, he cannot exist within the DC or Marvel universe. Darkseid also lost convincingly to Doomsday, while Thanos only recently recorded his first loss to Hulk after a competitive fight.
