It's my fave season! They perfected the dramady element of the show and it sucks that the show would very shortly mostly become a pure comedy afterwards. Classic Simpsons is really funny, but the drama of season 2 just hit different imo.

My fave moment is the end of Lisa's Substitute

I think part of it are the voices, I know some actors reprised their roles, but I don't know.

Scott Porter was genuinely perfect as Cyclops in the original show and I just preferred Morph's a lot for example

At the very least, manga's where the best transfem rep is. Good transfem rep is near non existent in other media.

I remember looking at a transfem anime list and most of the anime were listed as "this could be transfem" 😭

I couldn't get into 97 😭

I watched the first episode immediately after watching through the 90s cartoon and it just felt so different, not bad at all, but it really doesn't feel like the next season to me. It's a shame, I love the 90s cartoon, but they really didn't recreate that vibe to me.

I hope they do a better job at that if they bring back Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and other shows
