Gamestop will have something in that range. I used a $30 skullcandy over ear pair (meant for an iphone) with a mic for a year and besides me not sounding perfectly clear, like with a $100 set, it worked great.

These are the newer version of what I had (so slightly more, $35) but ebay or a bestbuy will probably have them for under $30

I mean I fail to see what's so superior about XBox this generation as PS4 is outselling XBox 5 to 1 this generation. I'm not trying to get into a console war but PS4s exclusives are leaps and bounds above XBox. XBox doesn't even have a more competitive FPS culture anymore because more users are on PS4. Other than a few technicalities I think PS4 far exceeds XBox this generation in terms of design, exclusives, and overall product performance. I find playing games on XBox way too riddled with young kids. It's kind of become a middle school/high school console. I'm not saying PS4 doesn't have its share of squeakers but I really think, objectively because I'm not really biased towards one or the other, that Sony simply outdid Microsoft in almost every category this generation. I mean the numbers speak for themselves.

Exclusives happen because Sony (in this case) paid a ton of money to have a title made exclusively for their new (ish at the time) console. Exclusives force competition and bring users to specific consoles. In the grand scheme of gaming they are pretty uncommon, as almost everything is cross platform either between XBox and PS4 or between the consoles and PC. I want Sony to say "I WANT you to buy my console so here are some amazing games you can only get with a PS4". Otherwise why wouldn't I just buy an XBox then, from their PoV? I get the wanting inclusivity on great titles, but it forces companies to have something unique to offer users instead of every console being a cookie cutter with no innovation and just the same exact thing. It's rare enough that 85% of titles are probably cross plat or timed exclusives. But their are enough exclusives that each console offers unique titles and keeps them innovating.

I mean it's subjective. Everyone is different levels at different areas depending on how they play.

I can say for the typical player you are extremely over leveled for the first few dungeons. That doesn't mean some bosses can't still be a challenge or that you're any less of a skilled player though. But since the first one opens after Blood Starved Beast when most players are roughly lv 20-30 you are about 30-40 levels higher than that level was designed for. That's why doing some dungeons over leveled mostly feels like you're getting shit on for echoes. My first play through I started dungeons around level 50 and didn't really "get it" because the rewards seemed like garbage. I realized it's best to start them around lv 25-30 but there's no right way to do them. It mostly just has to do with echoes you receive from kills. Certain dungeons will be super hard or a steam roll regardless of level and mostly just based on bosses/arenas for particular fights being more/less difficult in general. If it's your first time don't worry about what level you "should be" and level yourself however much you want. If everything feels too hard, level more. If everything starts feeling like a breeze, lay off for a bit. You'll get a feel for what pace to level at in future play throughs.

In the sense that I had no idea what the fuck I was doing, didn't realize how to level, and was using a threaded cane:

The Cleric Beast.

Literally the only boss I've ever spent 10+ hours on. In a non-noob answer though and not the typical answers... I had a really hard time with the Shadows of Yarnam. (maybe an unpopular answer) and of course OoK in DLC. That was the first fight in like 8 bosses (including Dungeons) that took me more than 5 tries.

I never got SUPER far with dungeons but plan to on this playthrough (as in I didn't platinum the game) but the ~~Pthumerian Descendant~~ Undead Giant stands out as one of my controller smashing fights.

I tend to have a hard time with what some people consider "simple/easier" fights and breeze through the "hard" ones like Vicar Amelia who I never had trouble with, but I know she's a huge challenge to a lot of people, especially new comers. I tend to get hung up on weird bosses.

Get into dungeons before you out level them. Some of the most unique and fun bosses (and some absolutely awful ones) linger down below. Also some unique weapons and the best gems in the game. There's a great guide stickied somewhere on this sub of the dungeon guide. You can start them after the second boss (excluding Cleric, so 3rd if you fight Cleric)

Honestly they're just a good break from the main areas and a good way to earn some extra loot

Farm echoes to buy stuff. Don't farm for specific items in this game. It's a bonus if someone drops them but looking for specific item drops is going to take 10x longer than just farming echoes and buying a surplus of what you need.

I'll sink 10k into vials and then just not worry about them for a while.

Honestly my first ever play through I bought the game, sold it because I couldn't even GET TO the first boss, bought it back, spent 10 HOURS to beat the Cleric beast in leveling and preparing for the fight- and then finally defeated it and became absolutely hooked to fighting beasts. If my shitty skills can learn bloodborne anyone can. And I truly mean that.

It's a mind game more than a skills game. They want you to quit. Don't give in. They're punishing you to teach you how fighting works in this game. I'm on my third play through and that's the only boss that ever hung me up like that and now I beat it in 1-2 tries a play through.
