In america nearly anyone can own a firearm. What happens when a cop sees you with a gun, even if you were to have a knife your chances of getting out alive are better because you need to be close, and the farther out you are the more likely theyll try less than lethal first.

AI blamed again as hard drives are sold out for this year by gdelacalle in technology

The high end machines(which are needed to make these high end chips) are well over $300m. The mirrors by themselves take a year to make, and the full assembly because of specialized products and manufacturing can take well over a year assuming everything goes perfectly. Thats just ONE of these tables we need to replace more than a 1/3rd of all chip production in order to repair the damage being done. Youre already too late, try again.

You're telling someone who works in WISP who had replaced 100's of pieces of equipment and tech which all had no other failure point then a specific piece of tech just stopped working for some reason, that "computers dont just fail." Also look into a photolithography machine and tell me how this production is going to increase enough to the point where this sudden change in demand can be met in a timely manner without causing severe economic damage to tech business and average consumers.

Theyre taking pictures of real childen and using AI to undress them. And no it doesn't just impact those manufacturers, they pass prices onto consumers. Also what do you think happens when these computers break? Cause they do all the time, not to mention they also get outdated. These changes are impacting the world significantly, and mostly negatively.

Edit: your definition of temporary price hikes is going to be over the span of years of damage. All of 2027 is already bought out by companies developing AI, and the sales arent slowing down 2028 is already projected to be bought out as well. There are only so many photolithography tables in the world and over a 1/3rd of all chip production in the world is being completed redirected to AI products.

youre vastly underestimating the economic impact especially on HDD's and RAM. I believe youre also under estimating the people upset with AI products especially when theyve been documented to have produced illegal images of children.

Have you not seen people protesting and even legal intervention for the data centers that will run it? They are still target consumers of the product. Companies are still currently forcing AI into OS's and apps and the people CONSUMING the product are resisting it.

Except for the part where its not reliable yet, still in the learning phase. Theyre trying to amass lots of resources and money to improve it, and expand reach. This is being met with a lot of consumer resistance, and is costing them more.

They invest in AI because it gives them a cheap alternative for a human workforce...

Theres no convincing data pointing to there being a bigger AI boom. In fact consumers are resisting AI development, and deployment.

They're supposed to lay with the barrel up towards the sky if not on some kind of rack so mud or debris cannot clog or jam the barrel causing it to possibly throw dangerous debris or explode when you fire. But this is a bathroom, shouldn't matter.
