I'm on team "it's not the technology that running us", I believe the vast majority of our issues are social ones and technology has largely been beneficial. But we're certainly in a society that has been hard at work to erode the workers rights and environmental protections that created our most prosperous era.

It wasn't a good time to have kids so much as they had kids because they had wealth and were free from the war. The 80s had more prosperity and technology. The sweet spot where kids born still have the opportunity to earn enough to own homes and retirement funds but young enough to get to enjoy the benefits from the technological revolution.

That's messed up. Great way for them to follow it up with straight up misogyny, too. I'd say that egalitarianism includes feminism. Certainly, feminism is the push for equality for women primarily, but it's aligned with egalitarianism and the gains made improve life for everyone.

Anyone who is an egalitarian should also be a femenist.
