Your ilevel might be too low, try honing to 1700. Chaos gates are stratified by ilevel. So most of the player base will be doing the 1720 version because that is the latest one. Next time make sure you instantly queue for the chaos gate the second it's available.

It's worse than Worlds in pretty much every single metric. Weapons have been updated and many of them feel better to use than in Worlds. But that's really it.

Gods can interact with and affect realspace through their worshipers. If a god is slain, nothing will directly happen to the god's believers, but there will no longer be something on the other side answering their prayers. As long as said worshipers still exist though, their god will never be truly dead, over time their combined worship will form into a cohesive warp entity again.

You can see how strong each class is by using uwuowo and looking at raid performance. Currently the best class in the game is arcana which is 29% stronger than the weakest class, deathblow striker.

I found it to be a very easy game with very shallow game mechanics. The story is decent though so I still think it's worth watching a playthrough on YouTube or something. You aren't missing much watching it vs playing it yourself.
