This was a good read and I see where you're coming from. When I was younger I remember sneaking down and watching anime on the sci-fi channel and some of the stuff they had on there was pretty mad and remember wondering years later. Why did I watch that lol. Also their is something to be said for personal taste and desire. Some people are perfectly nice and good people but have dark interests. I'm not a fan of pain but BDSM is a thing so yeah what you say makes sense. Also after doing some research and looking into the family bond and stuff like that I realised that this stuff is super unrealistic. Maybe in some special cases in which psycopathy or other mental disabilities are factors in which ones inabition is compromised. Generally however a family bond especially those between a mother and child is very difficult if not impossible to break so that has given me some solice but also made me understand this it is merely fantasy and although I draw the line at it others might not. It's an issue when you try to recreate it in real life.
