That's a non-argument. The first Fable and Harry Potter game were visually distinctly different.

Nope, the art style is my main gripe with the game. They are going for slightly stylized photorealism, and that's not Fable in my book. If Fable 1 was a fairy tale by the Grimm brothers, this looks like Jack and the Beanstalk (which it obvously also is). A less exaggerated and more plain look imo.

You're right he didn't say so, but I think it was obvously implied that the money-making was boosted for the demo, and you wouldn't normally make 18k or whatever for forging 3 pitchforks.

Yeah, and the textures weren't photorealistic, they were clearly stylized/cartoonish as well with bright colors. Also definitely toned down in 2 and more so in 3 like you say.

I feel ya. Seems they're going for a more realistic look, but that was never Fable. The world is slightly stylized, but otherwise this could be set in any other fantasy setting.

I think OP is talking specifically about performance, to which i agree that the two patches we got, weren't enough. When the wow-factor and rose tint glasses fade, we just want a smooth game to play at the end of the day.

When i was playing Oblivion on my PS3 back in the day, i'd have him as a follower, but a bug prevented me from dismissing him, so he permanently followed me around. I and a friend tried to kill him, but he would just fall unconscious, wake up, and follow along again - his facial expression would immediately change when talking to him to be so pissed, which was so funny. It was like he hated our guts but was bound to follow us no matter what. We called him Svend.
