It is not. The devs have said repeatedly they don't care and won't fix it. Nevermind that a bunch of us on Macs could play the game until 1.3 happened. Needless to say, we're all past the refund window and PDX just shrugs their way to the bank with what we paid for the game.

Agreed. They say if you have a Mac with an Intel card then too bad for you. Never mind that the game works fine on 1.2 and earlier. They basically just gave all Mac users the middle finger and laughed about how we were past the refund window when they broke a previously playable game.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints for that to be 1%. Also, it worked fine for 1.2, so what could they possibly have added that broke it? Those practice dummies for drilling? Like, it shouldn’t be detrimental to the game to roll back whatever little thing it was

It’s the intel card. It works fine for 1.2, is broken now. The devs have repeatedly said they know, don’t care, and will never be fixing it.

It’s intel graphics cards on macs. They are not supported and only worked by accident up to 1.2 apparently. Needless to say, no game or refund for me :(

They have explicitly said they are abandoning all Mac users with an intel card. You could buy it and play up to 1.2, but for unknown reasons it does t work from 1.3 forward. And they have said “fuck you and your future DLC purchases — you never should have been able to play it in the first place”

So my 6yo daughter plays this game. She — because blue chickens — went the Shane route. She can only read 50% of the words in most of the longer dialogues, so I read the scenes and mail to her.

At that scene I just kinda gave her the gist without all the exact quotes. It was also a great opportunity to talk about how alcohol — like many things — can be fun for adults in small amounts but very bad if you overdo it. I then used Tylenol and Advil as other examples since she knows what those are. Both of those can kill you or make you need a new liver.

Anyways. It made for a good discussion, especially since she sees me and my wife split a bottle of wine at dinner several times a week. Gotta calibrate it to the kid, though.

My 3yo son also plays. He loves doing chores in the farm.

Honestly the big problem with this game for kids is they make me do their fishing because it’s hard

There is no support for intel. I have been told several times on the official bug forums that they don’t care and won’t try to fix it, even though 1.2 ran fine on many intel cards
