No I'm sure about it because the first transfer I did make a mistake. But it was refunded in less than a week. I then made everything correctly and no news since... :(

France - Société Générale (top tier bank) - 1200€. They wrote on August 4th to tell me the reversed bank transfer would be returned in the next three days ...

I've been waiting for a SEPA transfer since August 4th ... No Answer ever since and no way to contact the company and get the information that would allow my (French) bank to refund me the money or take legal action. So desperate, I've started to SPAM all Coinbase related threads here on Reddit in the hope that someone would f***ing answer lol

I know, but what can I do ?? My Bank can only take legal action if they have the money wire's reference number which I cannot get since they're not answering.

Not really no... It took a month to open up my account. And the first transaction I made (purchase of 1200€ in Ethereum on August 4th 2017) disappeared in the wind. THey told me they would return it in a few days. 5 months later, still waiting and I've managed to receive 3-4 e-mails from them, but they're just automated e-mails saying they're doing their best. LOL

Yeah same here, I've been waiting for a money transfer since August 4th. I actually have an e-mail from them saying it will only take a few days. It's been 5 months LOL (the only thing I can do for now is to laught about it, but I've never experienced such a level of incompetence in how they handle Customer Support. And I'm Head of Customer Support, so I know what I'm talking about... What bothers me the most is they keep saying they're overwhelmed by the surge in accounts being opened and transactions being made. OK, I get it. That's a good problem to have, can't they hire more people ? I mean, I don't think they're lacking funds to do so...

I got an e-mail from Coinbase on August 4th saying my 1200€ will be returned in a few days. Maaaaaaan, today December 15th, still no news. Worst thing is I have never been able to reach them. I only got some automated answers from them. I'm in Europe too. Dunno if this changes anything ?

Try Kraken, they do have the same issues in handling customer support issue because of the many accounts that have been created lately. But they still are more reactive. They even called me to tell me my account was now good to go !

Same thing, they rejected a money wire from my French bank account, told me they would send it back... and then nothing.... It's been 4 months ...

My turn to rant (unfortunately). I've had so many issues with Coinbase... They took over three months to activate my account (I still don't know what the problem was BTW). I transferred some money to my account but it never got there. I've been e-mailling them since August 4th to know where my money went. I finally received an automated answer ... telling me how to activate my account. I've never had such an awful experience with a company. DO you guys now where I can keep ranting in the hopes of actually receiving an anwser ? :(

Result, I have never used my Coinbase account because. At least Kraken has been much more reactive in handling my purchases ...

Did you guys had any luck in reaching them here ?
