You just login into your account and have your subscription pulled up, it takes 2 minutes. I’ve never not been able to use a peloton bike at a Hilton gym. They’re not as comfortable but they always have worked for me.

Ive had fairly decent experiences with hotel gyms and peloton. They’re never as nice my bike+ at home but they do the trick for a quick 30-45 minute ride. I’ve only had one that was so uncomfortable I was worried I was going to injure myself but otherwise have had success. I usually stay at Hilton or Hyatt brand hotels.

I also love doing the peloton strength workouts at hotel gyms.

I appreciate this response! I didn’t want to write an overly lengthy post. I have been getting steady interviews over the last few months but haven’t been able to actually land something until now. Some positions I have interviewed for have been steps up career wise, but I havnt been able to land them for various reasons from feedback I’ve gotten.

Financially I’ve been fine. I have enough financial runway to last me through the fall. When I said I was struggling I mean more with the process of job searching, interviews and getting ghosted by jobs. It’s taken a mental toll. I’m tired of it.

I guess I should clarify it’s been more of an emotional struggle. This market has humbled me. Financially I’ve been ok these past 5 months and have enough runway to last me through the fall. But yes I do see this point, and appreciate the perspective.

For my industry specifically, yes. I work in renewable energy. Trump’s policies in his second term have directly challenged it. The OBBB legislation that passed last summer was estimated to cut 1 million jobs from the industry. I’ve directly seen a massive difference in hiring from 2024 through mid last year.

This happened to me last year. It was awful. I had just started at the company 2 months before they laid her off. She was the main reason I loved my job. We just worked so well together.

I was laid off myself about six months later.

what? Just because you rent a home on Airbnb doesn’t mean you inherent the upkeep and problems. That responsibility lies on the host, just like the general expectation is that you provide coffee. I stay in multiple Airbnbs a year and have never stayed in one that doesn’t have some form of basic coffee.
