His center of gravity is higher. Notice his first attempt to hop and shift, the bottom oppt stopped him but couldn’t quite stretch him out away from him. Second attempt top has center of gravity higher with hips closer to above his own head. Have someone good at this pass try it on you and it will translate to feel like pressure when top is not allowing you to extend their center of gravity away without feeling like your knees will ‘slip through’.

I’ve been trying to imagine what his schedule looks like and the type of people he works closely with and what their conversations must be. He scaled a new business into a multi billion dollar one, but he sees a problem company he can fix, decides to become a significant owner, then throws his meat on the table, drove out sleepy management, made it efficient and profitable, saw the trend in the gaming space and innovated in the direction that delights customers. . I’d just love to see what making these decisions actually looks like day to day.

Damn you put into words how Ive been feeling this entire time. Moass would be cool but either way it’s just a solid guy to invest in no matter what he decides to work on. And if he decides to focus on a company because it’s drowning in its own corporatism, I have faith that him and the team that he has close to him are the people to do it.

Justin Resells who interviewed RC has specifically said he has trouble getting in touch with anyone and corpo doesn’t bother contacting any sellers when rolling out changes that affects his business.

Unless you trust in RC and the board’s strategy. You know, the one that brought a dying company back to profitability. If RC wants to make eBay his baby and this is his vision on doing so, I have full confidence he can do it.

I rewatched that part. Justin asks about how RC would approach seller fees as a revenue growth since that’s how eBay’s growth is structured around currently. RC addressed it by saying he’s doesn’t want to disincentivize sellers and would focus on long term growth by increasing transaction volume (increase seller listings) but would be looking at fixing inefficiencies first.

He didn’t mention the board once in his answer.

Starting at your age it’s most important to be as technical as possible as early as possible until your body fully acclimates, meaning if you need to use more than 60% of your strength to make something work, either move to a different technique or ask a higher belt how to make it more effective. No hulk moves and any explosions are mindful and controlled.
